Loaded with Pearls
It s Tuesday sunny bright morning with 20 C it was raining last night
so back garden is in full bloom, looking beautiful. All flowers smiling.
Pink Roses, Hydrangea, Fuchsia, all happy. Trees with rain drops looked
like loaded with white pearls. Morning dew sparkling on the green grass
under the golden sunshine.
Yesterday I was invited at someone's place for dinner. I enjoyed though,
all were of my Daughter's friends, not my age. I think as we start getting
older, our choices to pick and choose start getting limited. We have to
accept what is there. Take it or leave it. We have to get into a habit
to enjoy whatever is there.
Today my Daughter has to go to Freshney Centre to get uniform of her son.
I will go with her to walk around, will go to my favorite spot, the Train station.
Sometimes some places, some spots, some people play an important part
in our lives. We can not figure that out but we know that. It takes all the
pressure away from us and take us to a place where we can distract
ourselves at least for a while.
I think distraction is meditation, more than enough, to make us happy.

Dear Retirees I am not in favor to take action against parents. Please stop
the meeting with police officials. I believe that parents and kids issues have
to be solved within family unit. We outsiders don't have to interfere with
family matters.
Dear Reader doing 2 Jobs it is very rude to say someone that you are fat
or things like that. You have to say sorry to your friend the Happy Worker.
She is your real friend.

ReplyDeleteI have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Today being Friday, there are a lot of people who are coming. Most people come to read the blog before going home or to the pub. It is a festive atmosphere. The councillor also came with some other officials today.

I wait 55 min and tell bakery that I will miss me shift in job 2 so one person nice and give me fresh donut. I only late 1 hour so only miss 1 hour money and no hole day

ReplyDeleteThe retirees did not go for our long walk today. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. Though we did not have a walk yesterday, we were very tired.
Your blog was very helpful and very thoughtful. The retirees had a big debate about that. The retired human rights activists and the retired child rights activists pointed out that they already met with the officials prior to the reading of the blog and therefore the wheels of justice were set in motion prior to today's blog. The lady was here and she said that the temple parents got phone calls from the officials. She said that your blog about letting family matters reside within the family is what the eastern culture is all about. She said that despite being a Western lady, it is amazing that you understand these eastern values.

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the SRC today. The Smile Army brought chicken roast for some of us as a goodwill gesture. They also gave a slice to the Dean and Prof George. We all consider them to be to your representatives here. The Dean and Prof George took a small piece as courtesy. They asked the Smile Army to not worry about them as chicken roast for students is too much. Prof George then said to the student who is being bullied that he will not take her in his home because you have given your verdict. He said that your verdict is that the issues should be discussed at home.
