I am Lucky, am I ??
It is Friday cold, bright, sunny morning, temperature 18 C.
It is nearly September and it is Canada so we know summer is gone
and winter is coming. Snow will be on the way, we are ready to accept
whatever will be there. We are Canadians, it will be fine.
It is 9.30, I am back to work, sitting in my office cubicle, writing My Blog.
Darts will start at 10 am. I will go in the next room to play, to enjoy with my
Senior club friends.
Yesterday was very tiring for me. I arranged all the clothes in my cupboard.
That was tough as I have to take everything out of my suitcase first and also
all the stuff from the cupboard, to rearrange everything.
It took me couple of hours. I was really tired by the end of the day. I started
my work late in the afternoon. Morning, I was busy making calls. I made
some calls day before still I have to do lot more.
When I come back from trip, I try to connect with all my family and friends.
To me people are very important. I love to connect. It is a fun atmosphere
here in the library.
I got lot of hugs from the library staff and from my Senior club friends.
It is really amazing. I have great friends. I am lucky. Yes I am.
By the way it was not a typo, it was My Youngest, Slurpee Boy. My yesterday Blog was all about what He was talking about the school system. He is Grade Eight student, will be going to high school next week. It is amazing that our future generation is so mature.
Kris Dear, I got my Coffee and Fries and Slurpee for my Youngest from my own pocket. Ask Father to calm down and leave everyone alone. I don't understand why he needs two people every time he goes anywhere. He has to realize that it is not fair to anyone.
I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. This is market day but customers are coming to my shop in waves. They come here to read the blog first before going to the market. We have lots of people from out of town who come to read blog and then do shopping. They are talking about Smile's grandson being so smart. They are also surprised that Smile has resumed her day to day activities so quickly.

DeleteDear Madam Smile, you so good. You write good to. I go Happy Worker and say her I very emotion and scare but my Madam say no prey during work time but only focus work. She say yes Madam right. Why you emotion and scare?? I say I emotion because all library people very happy that Madam back. Happy Worker say yes thats not surprising, Madam is very popular. There is no need to be scare because that. I say I no scare because that, I scare because Madam need do all work herself and her only son no help at all. She no good eater, so she get tire. ReplyDeleteWe went for our long walk today. Our walk though, very long, is nothing compared to the walks that you take. The retirees then went straight to the reading of the blog.
The retirees held a special meeting today. The retirees had to have that meeting because the hijab lady and the temple people were here and told us that the authorities have given them a deadline of about a week in which they will take away the temple kids from some of the parents. They are taking away the kids because the authorities believe that they have been mistreating the elder siblings. The mistreatment include forcing their older kids to have joint bank account as an example. Some retirees were reluctant to discuss the issue but the lady reminded them that you asked the retirees to do all that can be done to fix the issue. After a lot of discussion and debate, the retirees told the lady and the temple people that we can take the custody of the children. The lady said that the parents are religious but we told her that we will take them to church regularly and make sure that they get good Christian education. The lady asked us to check with you for your decision. If you can please help

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the Smile Garden today. Mrs. Lucy brought banana smoothies for everyone. The Smile Army and the students were very upset when we read your blog. We were upset because you had to so much work that you are tired and your son didnt help at all. Prof George reminded everyone that you have said not to say anything bad about him. Mrs. Lucy said lets play dart and we went to the dart board.
