Final Destination

It is Wednesday morning sunny bright. Weather is like a roller coaster.  
yesterday was very hot today windy 17 C. I am in back garden 
walking barefooted on the grass. It is cold, single pink Rose looking 
old lost all it's glow like we Seniors. I think her days are done. 

 I smelled the pink Carnations and came inside the kitchen to take shelter 
from the cold weather. Scarlet red and pink Fuchsia are smiling, not saying 
anything to me but it looks their smile is a bit sarcastic. 

 I think it is because they are still there to face the crucial weather while 
I can not. You are right my Dear I agree with you. We Humans 
underestimate all other Creatures of God. 

 We believe that we are the undisputed rulers. We have all rights reserved 
to command this world. We have power but we don't have any. We are
not able to do anything and need help at every step of our life. 

 I think we live in fantasy land, in Fool's paradise. Looking down on things 
behaving like masters. I think Fuchsia flowers were right to laugh at me. 
They know what I am. Weak with no power.

 We know that we are here for a given time still we don't want to believe that.
We don't want to believe that we are just a bunch of bones and flesh and 
ultimately have to go with these flowers and plants to perish. That is our 
final destiny.

 Dear God, we need your help, your guidance to lead our life, 
keeping our head high and our feet on the ground.

    I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. This being Friday, customers are lining up outside my shop to read blog as inside is completely full. They come here before going home or to the pub. It is like a community center here. The councillor is here as well. The priest was here in the morning as it is less busy then. He was making lots of notes

      There were mixed emotions in the SWS today. People were really happy to see today's blog because it however when everyone realized that it is Friday, they were feeling a little gloomy.

    Dear Madam Smile, you so good. You write good to. Happy worker come and say how you. I say I ok. She say why you keep walk on grass with no shoes. I say her because my Madam do that and my Madam explain that it very good. Happy Worker say but you Madam no mean do that in office or in park. She mean do home. I say her but I no back garden at home and Wicked worker tell me that I no listen Madam. Happy Worker say but why you listen to her, she always trick you. I say I no talk to her but she talk to me. Happy Worker say it ok but try understand that what Madam say is only to do at home and not office. I say ok and go. I do 2 proud job and always read blog

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees did not go for our walk today as we were very tired from our walk earlier. Our walk, though very long for us, is nothing as compared to the walks you take. The retirees went straight to the reading of the blog

    The retired author led the reading of the blog today. She was going bonkers as she said that this is a very new art form that she is seeing. She indicated that this is a cross between Herriot and Wordsworth and Chaucer. She pointed out to us that the amount of details that you share, the tone that you use, and the words you choose, gives a very unique perspective

    The retirees are very concerned about the temple people. They don't mean to do it but they are very loud and this impacts the business of the café. The café manager did not want to say anything to them but they start talking about politics. Apparently they had an election in their home country and they were discussing the new leadership. Some were of the view that the sportsman who won the election will be a good leader and others were arguing against him. They were all very passionate. At one point some of us thought that they are fighting. We were hoping to discuss the legal issues regarding the temple kids but because of the discussion, we didn't talk to them about it and simply left. The lady was here but she didn't say anything to calm them down

    Dear Author,

    We read your blog at the SRC today. Prof George was very appreciative of your blog. He said that this blog has a no. of literary aspects. He pointed it out to us but we had a little difficult time with it. He said that your writing can bring a scene alive. It makes the reader feel that he is with you at the location. He suggested to us that we write one page a day to practice but that's not fair as you are an author and we are not even writers

    This blog caused our meeting to get side tracked! I used the blog as an ice breaker but instead of having a quick 5 min discussion, we all wanted to talk about nothing else but this blog. It presented such a colorful depiction of flowers that we spent most of the day reading and re-reading this blog!

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
