Everyone needs some space
It is Thursday beautiful bright morning, a bit on cool side, 20 C but windy.
I went to the back garden to see Pink Roses, Scarlet Red Fuchsia and Pink
Hydrangea. It was cold so decided to sit in the kitchen, near the back
entrance.
I can see the whole garden from this spot. I am having my oatmeal
porridge, stir fry egg and enjoying my morning cup of tea also the
scenic view of the entire garden.
My Youngest Daughter, who lives in Reading, now enjoying holidays with
her family. She is in Snowdonia, in Whales. She is posting pictures on my
Facebook so that I can share what she doing.
It is nice of her. We Parents don't need anything else except the "Feel", that
our Kids are still connected. They are not tired of their old parents. This
"Feel" gives us power to move on, to tackle our day to day life issues, which
are always there at our age.
I believe everything has to be commanded not demanded. Not like Father,
who always keeps on demanding things from Niklas and Kris. I am not talking about Hannah. Father treats Hannah as his slave.
We have to give space to our Kids, let them enjoy their own life. Believe me
they will never forget our presence. They will remember that we also exist.
We have to leave them alone otherwise, it will be like a forced love, which
will be worthless, doesn't mean anything, not of any value. It will be like a
tug of war between love and hate, between kids and parents.

ReplyDeleteI have posted the blog in Smile Corner. This is market day but customers are coming to my shop in waves. They come here to read the blog first before going to the market. We have lots of people from out of town who come to read blog and then do shopping. They are talking about Smile's blog. Priest is here too and he brought veggie omelette. He is making some notes and asking people to say Morning Smile if they want the veggie omelette

Dear Madam Smile, you so good. You write good to. I go job worker with video kid and say her how you. She say I very busy and no time talk blog. I say I no want talk blog, I want ask do you give space to video kid? She say what you mean? I say you need give space. She say of course. I say do you demand that video kid talk nice to you. She say yes of course, he has to learn manners. I say no that no good. You should command respect and not demand respect. My Madam explain all in blog but I no supose talk blog. The Lady was here again and she said that the temple parents are being questioned by the officials for the ill-treatment and bullying of their kids. She said that the Eastern culture is better and its parents right to ask for a joint bank account. The retired human rights activists and retired child activists said that they were also called by the officials for a discussion as they reported the problem first. They disagreed with the Lady and said that parents should not be bullying the kids by disrupting internet or phone access. The Lady said that she will ask the temple priest to come to talk to us but we are not interested

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the Smile Garden today. Mrs. Lucy was here and she bought flat bread and chicken roast for everyone. She always does something like that. She says that it is a small gesture and also encourages everyone. She said that it is amazing that you are appreciative of flowers and know so much about them. She said that she has started gardening based on inspiration that you provided to her in these blogs.
The students are continuing to have difficulties and challenges with parents. Some of them have taken vacations to coincide with ours and they expect us to spend our entire off day with them. They dont realize that we get the day off to relax and we will rather spend time with our friends. They dont understand that it does not mean that we dont love our parents or dont care about them, its just that we have more in common with our friends. In some cases the parents get upset when we tell them we dont want to go on a day trip with them to a far off place. They say that this is how it used to be when we were a child, but they dont understand that we have grown and our interests have evolved. We dont want to spend the entire day fishing or having a picnic or something like. We know that it may be difficult for you to understand because the lucky guy or Master Golden or Slurpee boy or your other grandkids dont have this problem, but for us it is one more issue to deal with. We are not talking about joint bank account as you have instructed us to deal directly with our parents.

We had company today and as is typical, we entertained our guests by a few excerpts of your piquant writing. As we were expecting, they were engrossed by the mesmerizing scenery that you present.
ReplyDeleteOur esteemed guests were further astounded when we informed them that despite being on a sojourn, you have been dispensing your prudent prescriptions to your global readership in particular to the Kris clan, the retired ladies and gentlemen as well as the young scholars.
Suffice to say that as the evening progressed, they realized that we have not gone batty in praising your unearthly aptitude, generosity and transcendence
