It is Thursday sunny bright beautiful morning. It is 24 C later
will be hot 37. Very busy day for me.  Two days left to go for my 
flight. I have taken out all the stuff from my cupboard and also from 
my suitcase. Everything is on my bed. I will keep on sorting to short 
list dresses to what to pack with me.

 It  will be a long process I have to do it couple of times to fit in my
20 kg luggage. My Daughter from Grimbsy called. She was sure Mom
needs help. She insisted to pack couple of fancy clothes . She knows
I am not that type. I mean to enjoy fancy dresses.

 I never buy for myself but at my age people know that time is running out.
Not many years left for we seniors so we keep on getting gifts. I have to
pack couple of fancy ones now. 

 It is 11.45, I am leaving for my walk, my Youngest also wants to come with
me. He knows he will get treats. It is 12.30 I am at Tim Horton. He is
buying fries from Wendy's. Father keep in mind that treats are from my 
pocket so don't bother Niklas.

 I am enjoying with him, these moments will be like treasure for my 
memory box. My Youngest left after having fries. I gave him my
card to buy Slurpee. He will get on the way while going home.

 Now I will enjoy my time alone slot and write my Blog enjoy my coffee.
I didn't ask him to stay he will enjoy playing Video games at home.
I don't want him to feel stuck with me. Kids have to feel free otherwise
they will avoid our company. They have not much patience. It is their age.

    I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Today being Friday, there are a lot of people who are coming. Most people come to read the blog before going home or to the pub. It is a festive atmosphere. The priest is here again.

      We took the nature route for the SWS walk. In our walk as well, people were not wishing each other good weekends. One actually commented that he is looking forward to Monday

    Dear Madam Smile, you so good. You write good to. I go job worker with video kid and say how you. She say I very busy and no time talk blog. I say I no want talk blog, I want ask about video kid. She say ok. I say does he play lot video? She say yes. I say and he want get meal? She say yes he like fry. I say after fry what you do? She say well he wait impatient to go home. I say you need let him go right away because kid no like hang around old people like you. I think she get allergy and go. I do 2 proud job and always read blog

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees appreciate your blog today. The retirees are surprised that your grandson wants to spend time with you. Our grandkids don't spend time with us even though we buy them expensive gifts. One of the retiree however is very lucky because his grand daughter adores him. She spend one extra day with him other than Christmas. He takes her to a waterpark and she goes on different rides. Since she is 4 years old, they don't spend all day but only spend a few hours.

    The Lady came in today and wanted to talk about how kids in the Eastern culture are so much better. She said that they don't talk back, never lies always give their seats to the elders. We however were not interested in that

    The Smile with Smile program is asking if you can please provide some guidance for handling teenagers. Some of the parents are facing lots of challenges with older kids who can drive. The kids come home late and are very disrespectful

    Dear Author,

    We read your blog at the SRC today. We were amazed that you let your grandson go after having a meal. For us, our grandparents never used to take us to any eatery unless we stay with them for hours. The result was that we never used to go because we know one small meal and drink will cost us 3-4 hours easy. During this time they used to tell us their life stories, how much they love us, wanted to know about our friends, and all that. It was a nightmare.

    The psychology professors who attended the blog reading were impressed that you are using psychology to keep yourself calm and helping you prepare for the trip. They have asked a couple of senior students to have a look at the blog as they think this can be a catalyst for a paper

    Father say father very bore and very sad because he no want watch tele. Father say World cup so fun all time but no now. Father say father want change Chancellor because she bad. Father say father old almost 67

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
