Happiness around
It is Thursday sunny bright beautiful morning with 18 C. It will be
getting warmer in the evening. I don't work on Thursdays. It is my
calls and walk day. My laundry is done, I did it yesterday afternoon
when I was back from bowling.
I called my Younger Brother, We talk nearly every day. Nothing
special just to keep connection. I also called my Elder Brother's wife,
we talk twice a week.
I called my husband's niece. She lives in Sudbury, about 8 hours away
from here. She was living there for 14 years, well settled, big house.
Her husband now got better job in Toronto so she has to move.
She has 2 small children, also busy with selling everything as well as
her house, so much work and pressure. Nowadays I call her more often.
to give moral support.
Today at 1 pm, is monthly meeting of our club. It is 11.30, I have to
get ready. One of my friend will pick me up at 12.30. I am sitting now
in the Meeting room. Enjoying my coffee also writing my Blog.
Today is election day in our province, I will go in the evening to cast my vote. It is from 9 am to 9 pm, I will go together with my family after they will be back from work. It is at Dunbarton High School not far just
10 minutes walk.
Dear Retirees I just got your comments, I am relaxed. I think will
get some good night sleep after weeks. Every member of Readers
Family is very important to me. I love all of you.
Dear Reader doing 2 proud Jobs. Please leave the idea to get something
from Marks and Spencer. I am retired when you will be my age, you
will get more enjoyment in your life. You can get whatever you want.
Don't worry about these petty things. Just relax and be happy.
Dear father, Kris and Niklas, I want to thank for your support.
We have to respect everyone's opinion and Faith. Everyone has right
to practice what he believes.

I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Today being Friday, there are a lot of people who are coming. Most people come to read the blog before going home or to the pub. It is a festive atmosphere. The priest is also here. Some customers are saying hello to him and secretly smiling.

We will like to submit our humblest apologies to you for being AWOL. We have been a little tied up with some of the expansion plans for our small venture. Though it does sound a little far fetched but we were encouraged by your sagacious words to go outside of our comfort zone. We have now added another location to our venture in Asia. Our expansion from the continent to Asia has been due solely to some of the enterprising ideas that you have shared. We know that others from the business world, perhaps far superior in intellect and wisdom than us, have shared their thoughts with you regarding how you have been influencing ideas and thoughts. One of our office manager in Asia asked us "which business is this guru of yours that you keep talking about all the time". Our response was " she is in the business of ideas and happiness".

ReplyDeleteThe retirees appreciate your blog today. The retirees are still embarrassed by our rash actions. The retired judge reminded us that it is important to listen to you. The retired corporate executive also told us that we need to pay heed to your words very carefully. The retired priest was still absent from the reading. Many retirees are very upset with him and wanted to give him a piece of their mind. One retiree joked that may be we should have a dart board for him too but the retirees realized that this is going too far as the dart board is only reserved for very drastic offenders . The retirees want to thank you again for not letting us make a silly and bad decision

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the SRC today. The Smile Army brought a big cake to celebrate the success that you had. Prof George also bought cup cakes. He told everyone that Mrs. Lucy baked these cup cakes herself to celebrate you. When we asked if it he means it is to celebrate the recent victories, he said no, it is to celebrate you. When he noticed that we didnt understand, he said that regardless of the outcome, you are still the best. Just like regardless of whatever the outcome of the NBA finals, LeBron James will still be the best basketball player. Prof George usually gives us examples like that to make his points. The Smile Army started raising slogans for you. The Dean kept smiling and said to Prof George, let them enjoy, after all this is a very big victory
