I trust him
It is Thursday weather is great 22 degrees. I don't work on
Thursdays. I will make some calls, also have to go to Mandarin
Chinese Restaurant.
My club arranged Buffet. Members have to pay only $ 9 usually it costs
around 20 $. My friend will pick me up at 11.30. I am waiting for her
black Elantra, for now walking on my driveway.
At the corner of my front garden, tree of Magnolia is full of flowers.
I see lots of petals underneath the tree. Small white and yellow butterflies
whispering to flowers. I can not hear, but I can see flowers are smiling.
Birds talking from tree tops as their kids already left for school.
They now have time for chit chat. Basketball pole is waiting for kids.
They come after school to play around. The whole atmosphere is
back to life. My Friend is here I have to go.
I am at the Restaurant, Very festive atmosphere here. I don't eat much
at lunch time but I am enjoying the company. So many dishes to pick
and choose. Lot of work for we seniors.
It is 2 .30 pm, I am now back on my computer writing my Blog. Nearly
half a day is done still so much to do. My Daughters must be waiting
to talk to me. I have to call them and also to my Younger Brother.
He is in Chicago with his another daughter.
I am also planning to cook something to put on the dinner table for my
family. It is 3.30 my Youngest be here any time. I will give him toasted
bread slice with peanut butter and jam with a cup of chocolate milk.
I love to live in day tight compartment. I take it as recipe for
happy living. I follow it as my ritual. It works for me to live in
the present moment, to make use of every bit of it.
I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Today being Friday, there are lot of customers here. I have bought extra biscuits as it has become a tradition in our small town that locals come here and read blog before going back to their homes or pub

Dear Madam Smile, you so good. You write good to. I meet Happy Worker in shop near job 1. She say me why you no come job. I say because I fire. She say but Mr. Supervisor anger that time but he ok now, you probably misunderstand. I say ok I will go in a few days. She say no, you should come now because he may think you are take time out because he no fire you. I say I no suppose go because my Madam say go after some time. She say yes but you Madam don't know that you misunderstand Mr. Supervisor and you no fire. That why I say you, that you need come right away. Job is only 2 mins away so you come with me. I say no I never go against what my Madam tell me. I think she head hurt and she go. I do 1 proud job and always read blog

ReplyDeleteThe retirees appreciate your blog today. The retirees are surprised that you go to a buffet and don't eat that much. Most retirees go to the buffet and eat as much as they can. Some retirees wear loose, stretchy pants so that their clothing does not constrain them for eating. By employing this strategy, they have the flexibility to eat as much as possible
Some retirees came across the heejab lady from Pakistan this afternoon. She appeared to be walking towards her temple. As per your instructions, they chose to not engage in any conversation with her. The retired private detective wanted to have a stake out outside the temple to meet her and convince her to come back but we strongly advised him to refrain from coming in contact with her as you prefer that she is left alone.

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the SRC today. There was a big turnout for the blog reading today. The Smile Army volunteers were here, along with great friends and the students from the local school. The faculty of journalism was here today. This is the first opportunity that they were granted to come to a live blog reading. They were simply blown away as to how you communicate. The senior professor of journalism highlighted that you use your folksy style to create a very clear picture of the surroundings and then describe the event. She is planning to use some of your blogs as reference material for educational and lecturing purposes. She wanted to clarify about the copyright terms, but the Dean smiled and said that you have been very generous with your work, and unlike the common authors, are not interested in the legalities but prefer to keep things simple. The senior journalism professor was blown away. She wanted to come again tomorrow but the Dean said that the readings become too crowded so he prefers if everyone come when it is their turn. The Smile Army volunteers were heard saying to the great friends that they are very lucky as they get to come to the readings every day

Your blog was very timely. I was at a business lunch meeting with some of our senior client executives. We were about to order a big lunch, as we always do, however while waiting, we read your blog and it immediately reminded us that we need to be careful with what you eat. And business lunches, like the one you participated in, are more for social and business reasons as opposed t eating
