Tulip Festival
I am a bit scared of
writing about Birds
Rabbit and Lake
Now Onion Rings
besides oatmeal
It all adds up Father wish List
and Hanna Kris and Niklas
Home work gets piled up
Hannah has now onion rings
besides Oatmeal and Soup
to work out
Kris has to take Day off or call
sick Niklas is Target of Yelling
from every Corner
From Teachers - Kris and of course
Father the Great
By the way Onion Rings were
from Market I just baked it
for Kids
It is Friday 11 degrees still very cold
we need coats I am working full time
it is 9.25 in the Morning
I am walking on My Driveway waiting
for the black Jeep of My Friend in the
meantime enjoying the Neighborhood
Tree with full of pinkish white Blossom
looking sad at the Front Yard of My
next door Neighbor
Most of it's flowers are now gone
thanks to wind and heavy rain
next to that are the Twin Christmas
Trees I think 16 ft and 14 ft tall
Both of the trees look a bit in somber Mood
I think they want to share the sentiments
of their Friend the one with White Blossom
Who was in full bloom looking so happy
last week but you know things change
so quickly and time flies
Next to that house Tulips smiling giving
all the colors to the Front Yard
Yellow Red Tulips look so good
I started thinking about 1993 My Days
in Ottawa
Ottawa is a small beautiful city of
Lakes and Gardens it's Tulip Festival is
always be cherished in My Memory Box
Tulips come from Holland as a gesture
because Canada played important part in
saving it's Queen in 2nd World War
There is a whole history behind that
since then Tulips come as a gesture of
gratitude from Holland
The whole city of Ottawa is colored in
Red and Yellow all sorts of Tulips
it is called Tulip Festival
A week long festivities in the month of May
worth to watch the beauty
Anyway now my 5 minutes time slot
is done it is 9.30 My Friend is here to
pick Me up I will be back around 3 pm
I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. This being Sunday, their lots of out of town customers too. They first went to the church where priest gave a good sermon. Customers noticed that he used a lot of words from Smile's blogs. All people then come to my shop and read the blog from today as well as the rest of the week. It appears to me that the customers are getting more and more every week as I run out of biscuits and tea quickly now.

Dear Advisor,
ReplyDeleteThe retirees went for our long walk today. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. The retirees were very tired as we are out of practice for the few days. We had our lollipop after that.
The retired author was particularly pleased with today's blog. She pointed out that the words you used provided a very visual and pictorial imagery. The retired naturalist pointed out that this blog is more in line with the spring season.
We were joined today by young scholars. They came with a proposal to collaborate with us regarding the encyclopedia of your blogs that we are working on. We thanked them for their suggestion and have requested them for a few days before we can get back to them as we need to put this to a resolution. We intend to do that this week as we did not have the quorum today.
Thank you
recent retiree
We read your blog every day. I like your today's blog specially because my wretched daughter in law can read comments and learn from how Hannah is taking care of his in-laws

Dear Author,
ReplyDeleteThe students had a busy day today. Instead of reading the blog at the SRC, we went to the cafe to meet with the retired ladies and gentlemen. They appreciated meeting us and welcomed us warmly. The manager of the cafe was kind enough to extend a Smile discount to us. The discount was very generous, we wanted to pay more as we were concerned that the cafe could be losing money but he refused by saying that "any family member of Smile is my friend". When we clarified that we are readers but not family, he mentioned that to Smile all readers are her family
Though we already had read the blog on our mobile devices, but we read it again at the cafe as it is much more fun that way. Your blog was very spring like and got us in the spring mode. Thank you.
We talked to the retirees about the possibility of collaborating with them on the encyclopedia. The welcomed it as this encyclopedia will require a lot of expertise from the practicing members eg our professors as well as subject matter knowledge which the retired ladies and gentlemen can provide. They appeared to have liked the idea but as part of their process, want to have a vote on it before letting us know of their decision.
Though it was a tiring day as we have to travel about 2 hours but it was definitely worth it
thank you

Here we go again. Another day, same thing. I wish Smile has not asked us to be so civil.
ReplyDeleteThanks mrizvi. Fantastic comment
Caaaaalllmmmmm down Plunker. Yes Smile has asked us to be nice, so be considerate
ReplyDeleteGreat comment mrizvi. Good job
Your perspicacious writings have been a perpetual fountainhead of sagacious guidance for us, our friends and our colleagues. We periodically refer to it circadian. These prudent counsel has ameliorated us considerably. And for this we will like to express our gratitude
ReplyDeleteWe have also enjoyed your literary gymnastics. Your literary genius is not only wise but also entertaining. We often discuss if your interesting characterization is better than those form Herriot and Doyle. Invariably we come to the conclusion that you all have your own genre and it is unfair to both you as well as your well known colleagues to compare your literary works
thank you again for making our days brighter
