Love Triangle
It is 9.25 Beautiful Morning was Raining
all night so everything Fresh
after having a good Shower
It is Bright and Sunny Everyone looks
Happy Plants and Flowers smiling
Birds calling each other
Playing Hide and seek
While walking around I started thinking
about My Retirees and about All of
My Senior Friends living with Family
I think it always is a very complex situation
not only for Parents but for Kids too
and more complex for the Young Ones
for Grand Kids
This is not the Story of Kris Father
Niklas and Hannah This is the very
common story of 80% of the People
living in Joint Family System
We being old start losing all our Power
our Health going down day by day
our Nerves also not strong to handle
any pressure from any side
It is very easy for us to get angry and
even better to star Yelling and Shouting
it gives quick Results
We are Retired so already lost our Job
now We are not ready to loose our only Power
to Rule the House
This also looks slipping away from
our Hands better do something before too late
Our Kids are stuck in this Cross Fire
of Power Struggle
Their Kids our Grand Kids are caught too
though not their fault they suffer more
than anyone
Their Parents are now not focused on
Their Career not enough Time to spend
with their own Kids
Parents have to Pamper Their own Parents
to cool them down and to make them Happy
which can never happen
They can never meet the long Demand List
of their Parents I think We become Attention Seekers
We don't need anything just Attention
all the Time
I still feel We the Seniors the Retirees
have to understand the reality
We Love our Kids so Trust them and
leave them alone to spend time with
their Young Ones
We are still Family but We can be more productive
in a very positive way just start thinking
Positive and don't feel our Days are done
We are still the Music Makers Happiness
of the Whole Family depends on our
Attitude We can take Them to the Path of
Happiness
I know some Happy Families end up in
Divorce all because of the Power Struggle
of Love and attention from The Son / Daughter
to their Parents and Kids
I am sorry if I am hurting
Anyone's Feeling
My Dear Friends

Dear Madam Smile, You so good. Mr. Supervisor come and say how you. I say I scare and I angry and I sad. He say what you mean. I say I scare because I see Bird film last night. It make me scare. He say why you watch. I say because my Madam see that and she say that in blog yesterday so when I go home I see it. He say why sad. I say I sad because my Madam blog today make me sad. He say why you angry. I say because my Madam only son no good and make her sad. He say but you Madam no talk about her son but all kid. I say yes but it makes me more angry like video kid is useless also because he play with his friend and no take care of job worker with video kid. I say him but how you know because I no tell you blog. He say he need go and make phone. I do 2 proud job and always read blog

ReplyDeleteThe retirees did not go for our long walk today. We are still very tired from the walk from yesterday. Some of the retirees are still suffering from cramps also. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. The retirees instead went straight to the reading of your blog.
The retirees had a big debate about your blog. The retirees feel that the kids need to do more. They think that each generation is taking care of each other eg even the grandkids help their parents in chores and other responsibilities and us, the senior citizens, contribute by sharing our wisdom. As a no of retirees cant help out the grandkids for food and other activities, that you do, we still think that by us making the contribution about guidance , are making a significant impact to the well-being of our families
The retired nutritionist is wondering if you can share your advice about nutrition and healthy living as a no. of us are interested in that.

ReplyDeleteThe students and the professors read your blog at the SRC. Your blog created a big buzz as the social sciences professors and students debated and discussed the points you made. The Dean also invited the marketing department for the reading and they also joined the debate. They mentioned that what you are indicating is interesting. The senior professor indicated that this is similar to the concept of "sandwich generation" but pointed out that all generations go through that so is not a big deal however the media is making it a bigger deal than it needs to be. As an example they even coined a term for it even though this scenario has been going on for ages. The marketing students loved the picture you posts. They have been asked to look through your previous blogs and do an essay on the impact of photos on content. They have enlisted the help of students with sociology majors

She say she wake up 35 min early every day because oatmeal get hot. Niklas say that grandpapa no let him watch tele or play video because grandpapa watch National Geographic and Agatha Kristy all time. Me no like you idea to because me need take care of father. ReplyDeleteTaking advantage of the warmer weather, we have been trying to follow your example and are trying to spend time outdoors. We started this from last year when you encouraged us to be contiguous to nature. We have not been chasing the elusive lapin though have had some spectacular sightings of varying species of winged creatures in nature's columbary. The weather has been on the soggy side and to keep ourselves entertained, we have bought with us the printed copies of your blogs. Your writings are not just refreshing but also very entertaining. We used to take delight in Herriot but after reading your writings, dont find him to be too interesting
