worth reading

Winter is tough in Ottawa
very long and lots of snow
You can see snow in May
over there

I used to live in Ottawa for
number of years when My Son
was working in Nortel 

 Nortel was the High Tech company
it was Canadian Icon it's Shares
were Rocket high 

In early Twenties or so Shares were
in Pennies and then it got Bankrupt
things change so quickly

I was there in 1993 My Son was not
married at that Time My Nest was
Empty only Me and My Son

 He was doing His Masters with His Work
so very long Hours used to go at 7 after
in the Morning and back around 10 at Night

 I got My Monthly Bus Pass I mean
purchased so that I feel forced to get out

Ottawa is Capital of Canada but much
smaller than Toronto at that time the
whole city was 20 to 25 minutes
Driving Radius

There was Bayshore Mall at 10 minutes
Walking distance from My Apartment
Building " Aspen Towers " where
We lived in two room Apartment

 I used to walk alone Every Day to the
Mall after My Breakfast to spend
couple of Hours there then back
to My Place to have Lunch 

Couple of Hours after I used to start
My Bus Journey taking different Rout
Every Day to Downtown 

 It was tough as temperature was
40 below Zero for many months
I had to force Myself to get out

I joined number of Organisations
to volunteer also some courses in
Business and Computer just to pass
My time and get busy

I was in Red Cross Oxfam Immigration
Centre Children Village and so on
over there I didn't know anyone

No relatives and no where to visit
just to roam around the City
to get busy

I am writing all this as We have to be busy
to pass our time and to lead our Life to
Think Positive 

We can start any time as Retiree Friends 
are keeping Themselves busy in Group
Meetings and walking together Reading
My Blog in joint Session Sharing
Their Thoughts

 It doesn't matter that You have to volunteer
somewhere just start Your Hobby that's it
Anything You enjoy to pass Your Time

We have to keep ourselves busy
to stay away from Negative Thoughts
This is for Our Own Good

 I mentioned so many Hobbies in My Blog
Couple of Days back so just start anything
Just Do It

    Dear Madam Smile, I so cry today. Mr. Supervisor come and say how you. I say I sad and angry. He say why. I say because Madam only son no take care her. He made her stay home all day and force her go out -40. It no right. He say he agree but it complicate. I say how you know. He say he need go. I do 2 proud job and always read blog

    The retirees went for our long walk today. After that we had our lollipop. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. The retirees instead went straight to the reading of your blog.

    The retirees were both inspired and shocked today. The retired civil lawyer and the retired senior citizens' activist wanted us to form a subcommittee to explore the uncivil treatment meted out to you by your only son. They both believe that the treatment that you were exposed to in Ottawas is not trivial. We know that your preference is not to talk about your son but today's blog forced us to be more candid. I hope you will excuse us.

    Dear Author,

    The students went through your blog at the SRC. The students from the other groups were also there The professors of the sociology group talked to us after that. They basically pointed out that though your blog is meant to be uplifting and inspirational, yet we must remember that your son does not deserve any kind words. After that we worked on the Smile Garden together

    (Hannah say that she no understand how you stay alone and do so thing in cold weather. Me try tell father but he no listen. Me take him near park but he no go. He only walk out with Niklas. Me no no what do)

    Beautiful morning sunny and bright. No more rain. We had already more than enough of it. Grass and flowers, don't need any watering. It is 26 C, hot day.   This is weekend, I have to do my hair color. My friend invited me for afternoon tea. I will go there. It is always good to be with friends and family. We have to accept invitations, to make our day. I think, calls are sort of blessings. Signals from God for us to gather happiness. Life is nearly the same for everyone. It is all up to us, how we take it.  Try to give color to the moments in hand. Sitting idle, doing nothing, won't bring happiness. Try to be active, do something, anything you like to do. Go for walk, to look the scenery around.  Some people like outdoors, some not. They like to be indoors. Find the spot of your choice in your garden / balcony, get book / magazine of your interest, to be happy. Bird watching is beautiful. You feel great, watching them doing things, you get involved. Happiness

Nature is great

     October 29th 2024 It's a different scenario today. Cloudy morning hazy sky. Sun is hiding under his gray blanket. It is Tuesday so I don't have to go to work. No Darts today at the library. It is a day off for me. I have to make other plans to make my day. Day offs are like clean slates. We have to write our schedule to fill out the columns of the day. When we have to go to work or school, our timings are all set.  We don't have to worry about how to pass our time. We have just a couple of hours left to sort out after coming back from our workplace or school. Weekends and day offs are tricky. We need some homework to fill out our day slots. Try to make it like a combo, a mixed plate to have a taste of everything. Day offs are like blank sheets. We can write, paint, whatever we want to do, to fill out. Every day is like a container with twenty four hours of consignment. It's delivered every morning.  We have to open it and use to finish it up. It all has to be done

      October 22nd 2024 Great morning 18C. It is like summer for Canadians. Couple of more days to enjoy the outdoors.  Beautiful leaves of all colors are everywhere giving a scenic look to the atmosphere to behold and to cherish these moments. Nature is amazing. There is always something for we Humans to make our day. Take some time off from your day today to look around. You will find beauty everywhere. It doesn't matter in which part of the world you live. Don't have to plan for long trips. It is all at your doorsteps. Keep your eyes open and take a break to smell the nature around. You will get the flavor and also inner peace deep down. It will be a rare happiness all on its own. You don't have to make any payments, any investments for that. Just a time alone slot and all the transactions will be done. It works like meditation. It's 11.45, I am at Tim Hortons enjoying my small tea, not coffee today. We have to change our menu too. It works something like a change of
