It is 16 degrees feels like 16
it means now summer is back

I went to Petticoat Creek it is the
nearest spot of Lake just 5 minutes
away from My place in Pickering

It was all flooded much more water
than last week more area under
water not possible to get down the Bridge

It was amazing very scenic view as
lots of Birds busy under the bridge

Building their homes and shouting
at their Kids who I think were
not helping out

Birds were everywhere playing around
singing alone and talking together
very few on the grass all types of Birds

I was wearing My reddish brown sweater
under My black light jacket with
Sun Life logo 

This jacket for Me is like a Souvenir
My Son gave as a gift to Me
He got as an incentive from His office

I enjoyed walking on the other side
of the Lake I mean on the roadside
of the Lake

While going back I asked My Son to drop
Me at Tim Horton to have My Time alone
to have my coffee and to write My Blog

After that I will go to Flower shop across
to watch the beautiful Flowers and will
enjoy My walk Home

 Weather was looking hot so I take
My jacket and sweater off and left
in the car with My son

As I entered the Coffee House
someone called Me " are You from
Seniors Club "

She was a familiar Face to Me
it reminded Me the theme song
of amazing TV series " Cheers "

 " Where Everybody Knows Your Name "

Of course you feel good when you see
people around you know

 I am sitting now at My favorite spot
in Tim Horton it was a Full House
before but now not many around
may be as it is 1 pm not coffee time

 Leaving jacket and sweater in the
car was not a good idea as going
back to home I am not shivering
still feeling very cold

 Go home make Lunch for Myself
and My Son to enjoy My time
it was a great weekend so far
I enjoyed

      SWS was fun. There are some managers who also join these walks. People were saying TGIM (Thank God Its Monday) and now we get to read 3 blogs.

    Dear Madam Smile, You so good. You write for me so many time. Job Worker with video kid come and say how you. I say I very happy that you know my name. She say of course I do, lot people in the office know your name because you work here. I say yes but it make me feel very good. She say I hear you are selling your car. I say yes because my Madam tell me. She say but you just got it fixed and spent so much on the new engine. It should last you for a many months now. You should have sold it before getting it fixed. If you sell now you would have wasted all that money because no one will give you good price because it is an old car. I say I know but my Madam ask me to sell so I will sell. I think she got big head pain. I do 2 proud job and always read blog.

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees went for our long walk today. After that we had our lollipop. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. The retirees were very tired as we are out of practice for the few days. We had our lollipop after that.

    The retirees were amazed that you went to a flooded lake. Some retirees had an unpleasant experience of coming across flooded regions in the past and it still haunts them. Their experience was so harrowing because the water came was about 1 inch deep in an area as wide as 3-4 feet. Though they did not went inside the flood zone they were concerned about that the infrastructure around the zone

    The retirees are still deliberating about collaboration with the young scholars. We are hoping to come to a conclusion within the next few days.

    Dear Author,

    We read you blog at the SRC today. We were really amazed that you consider us your family. Even the Dean got a little choked up. He is one of your biggest fans. I am not sure if I informed you previously that the Dean has started a process of inviting a few professors and select students from various departments at these readings. He chooses the department on a rotational basis. The intent is to encourage them to learn more. Today it was the philosophy department who came to listen to the reading. On Friday was the Fine Arts department, and so forth.

    The philosophy profs pointed out that you are actually highlighting the need for self realization, self recognition and self appreciation. They indicated that your blog is actually alluding to the Maslow principles. The literature profs who were there were amazed because they thought that this is a classic blog of English literature.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
