Trick and Treat

It is Friday Raining non stop since
Yesterday already 60 mm and
still 30 to come but nothing
stops here Life goes on

Today is PA Day at Schools so
Kids are Home sleeping
I am working Full Time today 

Enjoying My 5 minutes Slot while
waiting for My Friend to pick Me up
He will be here at 9.30

Beautiful Morning I am standing
at the Door step of My House
it is raining so I skip My walk on
My Driveway

Enjoying the Bird Bath as couple of Birds
are in the very small puddle near the water
Drain beside the Basket Ball Pole

Red Caravan is shining at our Driveway
thanks to Rain My Son is working from
Home as He is worried about the Basement

After so much rain You don't know what
will happen water already started coming
through stairs from outside

He will try couple of things got from
Home Depot anyway I am enjoying
the scenic view of My Front Garden

Tree at the left side of our front yard
is full of Buds all around need just
a day or so to Bloom 

 Sitting in My Office Cubicle
I started thinking about My Retiree Friends
who wonder how I am able to handle
so many activities at My Age

I figured out after some Brainstorming
that I Trick Myself all the Time
with everything going around

I am Retired long time back now just
doing Darts and Carpet Bowling
but I call it as Working Part Time
and Full Time to Cheat Myself
and to feel Good

I try to be part of everything going
around My House My Family
like busy with Kitchen and with
My Grand Kids

This all to make Me feel as I am still
in the Ring My Son was going to Home
Depot to get Things for the Basement

I got ready in just 5 Minutes and jumped
in the car to go it was 9.30 at Night

I do these things to defy My Age like
going to Lake in winter to see whether
Lake is frozen or not

 I Trick Myself from thinking about My Age
I go to many places in a Day none of My
Friends do that most of them don't
come daily to the Club and very few do
both the activities I mean Darts as well as
Bowling

I don't Drive but I have Friends in different
Groups of My Club so I have someone always
there for Me and We have good time together

I think this Trick and Treat Thing working
very well for Me so far so good

I always try to live in the present Moment
and always try to keep connected with God
and with All of his Creatures Big and Small
Thank You God I Love You

    I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Customers went for the Sunday services at the church. Priest talked about the Smile festival that is going on. As it is the last day of the festival, a no. of out of town customers joined us, they brought cake and flowers. The bakery is offering Smile cakes at a discount. They love Smile too.

    Dear Madam Smile, You so good. Job worker with video kid come and say how you. I say I sad because Madam son very bad. She say why. I say because he home but no take Madam to library. Madam need to go on bus or her friend help. She say it no good. I say and if he work at home then he no get paid for the day so he will ask Madam for money. She already take care grandbabies and give them food when they come back school. She say that no good because they big. She said she sad to because her son small but he take care himself. She had good idea. She say that why she like spend time alone and not with the bad son. She say she will start be hard on her son now. I do 2 proud job and always read blog

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees went for our long walk today. After that we had our lollipop. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. The retirees instead went straight to the reading of your blog.

    As this is the Sunday of the week of your birthday, the retirees chose to reflect on your example. We did that so we can learn from the various aspects of your life. We noticed that you have mutiple friends. You have cultivated this friendship so you dont rely on your family. We also noticed that you read quite a lot. You also go to coffee shop. You write. You go for long walks. We talked about this for an hour but after that we ran out of time however not for all the things that you do

    Dear Author,

    We had the reading of the blog at the Smile Garden in front of the SRC. We decided to the reading because we can read your blog and also try to experience nature the same way you do. As we were going through it we noticed that it is not easy to look at the bright side. It requires lot of practice.

    For me and other students of English literature your blogs are a constant source of learning and knowledge. We enjoy your blog but also try to keep an eye out for the different techniques that you use. We were using some other authors like Herriot, Hemingway and a few others but your blog helps gives us a lot of different ideas as you have a versatile style

    Father say you forgot yell father for long time. Father say he joke, please no mind. Father say why you need ask friend come pick you, father say you yell you Kris so he take you where you want go. Father say that he yell Kris (me) lot so Kris (me) no get wrong idea. Father also ask Kris (me) to take him to different place so he get good training. Father say he no say father old almost 67

    (Hannah say that she still work on soup so will try some change. She say nabor like the new soup but Niklas no like it. Hannah say she want use less salt because it no good for father health but if she use less salt, it make soup no taste. Niklas say he go out all day today so grandpapa no chance to make him stand outside on driveway or yell him. Father make me go lot place because he afraid I become like you Kris. I tire. I yell Niklas because he no stay home. Me confuse. Me no no what do)

      Hey Cool Kyle, stop being amazed at the freshness and variety of the blog. If you want to be impressed, then look at all the activities that Smile is involved in, from office activities (ie blog), to sports (darts, bowling and walks) to family (supporting her son financially and her grandkids physically).

    Beautiful morning sunny and bright. No more rain. We had already more than enough of it. Grass and flowers, don't need any watering. It is 26 C, hot day.   This is weekend, I have to do my hair color. My friend invited me for afternoon tea. I will go there. It is always good to be with friends and family. We have to accept invitations, to make our day. I think, calls are sort of blessings. Signals from God for us to gather happiness. Life is nearly the same for everyone. It is all up to us, how we take it.  Try to give color to the moments in hand. Sitting idle, doing nothing, won't bring happiness. Try to be active, do something, anything you like to do. Go for walk, to look the scenery around.  Some people like outdoors, some not. They like to be indoors. Find the spot of your choice in your garden / balcony, get book / magazine of your interest, to be happy. Bird watching is beautiful. You feel great, watching them doing things, you get involved. Nature is great

     October 29th 2024 It's a different scenario today. Cloudy morning hazy sky. Sun is hiding under his gray blanket. It is Tuesday so I don't have to go to work. No Darts today at the library. It is a day off for me. I have to make other plans to make my day. Day offs are like clean slates. We have to write our schedule to fill out the columns of the day. When we have to go to work or school, our timings are all set.  We don't have to worry about how to pass our time. We have just a couple of hours left to sort out after coming back from our workplace or school. Weekends and day offs are tricky. We need some homework to fill out our day slots. Try to make it like a combo, a mixed plate to have a taste of everything. Day offs are like blank sheets. We can write, paint, whatever we want to do, to fill out. Every day is like a container with twenty four hours of consignment. It's delivered every morning.  We have to open it and use to finish it up. It all has to be done

      October 22nd 2024 Great morning 18C. It is like summer for Canadians. Couple of more days to enjoy the outdoors.  Beautiful leaves of all colors are everywhere giving a scenic look to the atmosphere to behold and to cherish these moments. Nature is amazing. There is always something for we Humans to make our day. Take some time off from your day today to look around. You will find beauty everywhere. It doesn't matter in which part of the world you live. Don't have to plan for long trips. It is all at your doorsteps. Keep your eyes open and take a break to smell the nature around. You will get the flavor and also inner peace deep down. It will be a rare happiness all on its own. You don't have to make any payments, any investments for that. Just a time alone slot and all the transactions will be done. It works like meditation.
