This Too Shall Pass

It is Sunday beautiful sunny very cold morning chilly with 14 C below zero.
I don't have to do any laundry today. I did two loads yesterday. I am done
for the week. It is 9.45, I am done with my breakfast now sitting in the
TV lounge.

I like this place. I can do multitasking sitting here at this place. TV is on,
to connect with the world and with the prevailing situation. I can get the
day to day instructions of what to do and what to avoid, at my place,
in our province, in our city, in our town.

These directives will not be the same for everyone. It differs from place
to place. We have to keep in mind, that is very important. We have to
follow, whatever is advised. This is for our own good, for our safety.
Here in Toronto, we can walk, keeping a reasonable distance.
No gatherings of more than five. This is for today.
Every day is different.

Anyway, I was talking about the TV lounge and my multitasking.
I can watch TV as well as I keep myself busy with my Cross words and
Sudoku books. It is like a family room so I can connect with my family.

It is important to spend some time with the people, we live with, the people
around. Keep that in mind, we have to respect their privacy. Don't cross
your limits. Never enter into their private territory. No one will like that.
We have to make our stay with them, a pleasure one, not to disturb
the peaceful atmosphere.

Sitting in the TV lounge, also gives me opportunity, to connect with the
Nature. I can enjoy the scenic view of my back garden. I can see my friend,
the Black Squirrel, walking around, busy with his routine exercises.

The Skeleton pear tree on the left, reminds me the revival of life. The Blue
Trampoline in the center, which used to be embedded into sheets of snow,
is now shining under the sun, gives me lesson, to stay positive. I start
thinking that, there is always light at the end of tunnel. "This Too Shall Pass".

It is 12.30, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Horton. I know, we are not
allowed inside, no seating there. I will turn back from outside. It is very
cold, I will wear my maroon sweater underneath my Black winter coat.

This Black coat is like a souvenir for me. My eldest grandson, who lives
in Grimsby, England, got this for me, from his first pay check. Great, my
grandson is not sick of his old grandma. I start feeling myself lucky.

I am home, it took me 35 minutes to go there and to come back. I enjoyed
my journey to Tim Horton. It was a pleasant trip. Birds were having chit
chat, talking each other from tree tops. I think, they all are back from
South of the Border, due to the travel advisory.

At that time, train was also passing under the overhead bridge. I stopped
there for couple of minutes, to enjoy the moment. I told you that I have
a passion for trains since my childhood

There was lots of traffic on the Whites Road but not the people. Just couple
of, walking far away. It is good that people are following the Directives.
This too shall pass.

My friend "N", my dear you told me that you are feeling low. Everyone is
in that phase. No one feeling good but we have to stay positive. I told you
to get busy. Get couple of flower pots. Put in your room/balcony.

Water plants regularly. Put a bird feeder, to feed birds.
Please don't stop reading my Blogs. I will be sad.

We have to push ourselves to do something, anything to get busy.
This will stay us away from thinking negative. I go for my walk.
Do you think, I am not forcing myself to do that. It is very cold,
I have to dress up in layers.

Walking alone, to go nowhere, is not fun but my Dear, we have to do
all that to take our lives into positive direction. Life is like a trail with
bushes all around. We have to find our path.

We have to pick flowers of Happiness from all around.
From wherever, we can. Life is a gift from God.
We have to value that gift. This is a must.

  12. What a powerful message of hope. And not just that, its wrapped in a folksy style. Everyone should frame it, so they can read again and again. Dont believe me? Here it is:

Trampoline in the center, which used to be embedded into sheets of snow,
is now shining under the sun, gives me lesson, to stay positive. I start
