      I was in a meeting with the management. They are now having weekly meetings specifically about Smile's blogs. They want to focus on it as these blogs are extremely popular here. One director read today's blog and was amazed that Smile communicates so effectively and talks about some very important concepts in a very simple and straight forward way. They are thinking of using this kind of lingo in their communications.

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees did not go for our long walk today. We are still very tired from the walk from yesterday. Some of the retirees are still suffering from cramps also. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. The retirees instead went straight to the reading of your blog.

    The retired bird watcher and retired environmentalist led the reading of the blog. They were both very pleased that you are using your blog to highlight the significance and value of bird watching and nature. The fact that your blog has a worldwide audience is very helpful. The retired author pointed out that your folksy style is helping to deliver the message in a very effective manner.

    The retirees also took note of my misunderstanding that you clarified today. I was under the impression that you dont want us to compare but you pointed out that you dont mind that. The retirees passed a motion to reprimand me for not doing my job properly. They also asked me to formally apologize to you for this transgression. I hope you will be kind enough to take a lenient view on this and will forgive me

    This blog helped saved yet another meeting for me. This is 2 in 2 days. The participants were very hesitant and cautious. After listening to the blog, they realized that it is ok to take chances as there will be a new 24 hour available in the bank account tomorrow. This changed the entire meeting dynamics

    Dear Author,

    The students and the professor read your blog at the Smile Garden today. We did that as the weather is quite pleasant and due to all the work done by students, the garden is looking quite nice. Though the students spent lots of hours here to beautify the garden. Aside from the students, a no. of professors also spent lots of hours here. Even the Dean comes here from time to time. He does not like Gardening but he says that it is his way to say thanks to you

    The students then went to the SRC to continue their research on the Smile Encyclopedia

    Father say you forget yell today. Father say he yes mind because you yell every day. Father say he go see see today and then go library. Father say he take Niklas for walk. He say he walk 5 min like you. Father say he go alone. Father say he yell Hannah because she no pack good lynch. Father say you need give her recipe. Father say he old almost 67

    (Hannah say she mess up today because she wake only 40 min so no time to make good lunch as father also need oatmeal breakfast to. She say father yell him but she say sorry him.       She not only writes a fresh blog every day, she writes it with lots of quality in it. To be honest, I am surprised that she has not gone to an English Literature school, I was thinking that she will be a Literature major

    We just returned from our holidays. We were so blithesome that you influenced us and educated us in the allure of of natural beauty and being able to appreciate the elements. We had an abundance of conviviality and schooling.

    During this time, we continued to keep ourselves entertained through the daily reading of your writings. As we had plenty of time at our disposal, we already had copies of your previous blogs. They served as well, as we went through your earlier writings as well as the more recent ones.

    We also recalled that we made requests of you to write regularly when you went to England. We now realize that this must have been extremely burdensome for you as it is onerous to be able to think about writing and also be able to write them with any regularity.

    We apologize for our request and also appreciate you taking your readership with you. We also noticed that your blogs took the form of a travelogue during your vacation. You took us to fascinating places. Thank you for doing that

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
