It is 13 and Sunny I was home
on computer as it was Tuesday
and I have day off from my Club 
free to make my own plans

We are human not Robot so I am
feeling sleepy though Sun is giving
signal to switch off computer and
get out of home

In my Blog " Kid Inside " which
I posted moths back I tried to give
a picture of our inside kid who never
listens to us so we have to tackle 
that kid promising Treats and
sometimes have to bribe too

Same case was with me the kid
inside feeling sleepy and was
not listening to me first thing
I switched off my computer

After that I had shower to wake
my body up then I started getting
ready to give a clear Message to
my inside kid  to get out

I was happy it was 11.30 am
lunch time so children were coming
out from Dunbartons High school
All the young bright happy faces

 It was amazing to watch them talking
no worries rushing to their favorite
Eating places with the company of
their choice

Now I am sitting at TimHortons 
giving treat to my inside kid of
toasted raisin biscuit with a hot
cup of small Double Double
I think he is happy enough now

    You can do it with your strength but it is really very difficult to tackle the kid inside and we, most of the time, is listening to him and let him control us.

      We will need to reschedule Smile Forum to next week as the meeting room is too small. We are getting flooded with requests from many. We only had the room for 20 people and we are close to 32. The other option is to break the meeting in 2 shifts. We can discuss it tomorrow during our Smile Walk

    Dear Advisor,

    We had our meeting today and we passed a resolution to nullify our resolutions against your son. We also approved a unanimous motion to express our sincere apologies to any offence and hurt we caused you or him because of our insensitive commentary.

    We also decided that we will start a Smile Walk program to get us started on the walking program. We will be starting this program from tomorrow as our retiree members were tired today due to the meeting and could not take part in any further activities.

    We also request you for some advice about social issues and keeping us upbeat as some of our members feel a little low at times and some are having some difficulties with their in law children as well as biological children

    Today we say the power of kindness and symbolic writing from Smile. She did not even write the entire blog for the lady but simply pointed her in the right direction and then moved on to talk about other things. No wonder people are flocking to meeting rooms to talk about blogs. This is just the opposite that typically what happens. People avoid meetings and run away from meeting rooms. Not when it comes to Smile Forum though.

    Quite impressive!

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
