A Movie Theater
Request to My Readers
Family Please don't criticize my Son my family
I feel sad as it is a
public place and we have
to share positive thoughts
for everyone
It will be great
I have said before glass
is not half empty it is
Half full the way you look
at that makes all the difference
Thanks Everyone
One more thing I mentioned
for change of name only for
one of my new Reader and
I think she already read and will do
so please remove Miserable from
your Name Thanks
Life is beautiful every time
change of scenery it is not stagnant
so that we can not be get bored
and always be active to use new
strategies to deal with that
It is like a Movie revealing
something new something
unexpected to get excited to
get puzzled about the story
of our Life
God believes in change I think
so we have to change our attitude
accordingly to our part of life
Shakespeare described the world as
a theater where we are actors
play our part and depart he is right
so never take life too seriously
World is a Movie Theater just do
your part get relaxed and enjoy
don't be scared of old age it is a
part we have to play with grace
Why we think that we have to
depend on our kids as we raised
them we educated and supported
now it is their turn to pay back
I think that was our part the written
Script from God to act like Parents
we played our part nothing to do
with them now we are allotted a
different role the old character
in the Movie we have to play that
with patience and Grace
Very privileged to be the first one to comment today.
ReplyDeleteYou have described old age with grace and beauty and now I am sure that all the old people must be feeling very proud of their age and their part which they have played in their past.
+1

Dear Madam Smile, I so sorry that I say bad things about you only son and that hurt you. I no wanted to hurt you feeling. I feel really sad. I no say thing about mrizvi too
ReplyDeleteYou so positive. You so good. I not know that you asking the Madam daughter in law to change name, I thought you asking me too. I sorry. I do 2 job and English no very good.
Dear Advisor,
ReplyDeleteWe met yesterday to review your advice to us last week. We are hoping if you can share some additional insights. Our retired corporate executive is indicating that you are just too positive and do too many things, we are hoping if you can give us 1 or 2 suggestions that we can implement. Please keep in mind that we can only do 20-25% of what you do. For example, we get up late during weekdays, we don't join clubs, we only go to 1 or 2 hockey games in a year (though one of the retired member goes to 3 games as his grandson plays is the captain of his hockey team), we dont travel except for 1 weekend in the year, and that also is not an international travel, we dont walk unless the weather is really pleasant and those walks are not more than 5 mins, though one of the member walks her dog, and her walks are much longer eg 10 mins or so. I hope I provided you with some examples to give you a better understanding of our state.
As for your comment about your son, a no. of members called me today to express our solidarity with you and to communicate our apologies for any grief our comments may have caused you. We will be more careful in the future. Also, one member will be submitting a motion in the next meeting to nullify and withdraw our previous resolutions against him. We will also refrain from making comments about mrizvi

Sorry for not having posted in the past few weeks, I have moved house and the new place doesn't have internet yet. Also sorry to hear your son is being criticised like this and you're a great mother for standing up for him in front of the whole world of the internet.
ReplyDeleteYou have a knack of saying things without explicitly stating them. We thought that you basically wanted to create a more civil atmosphere within your readers community and ensure that readers dont lose site of the pleasant discourse principle while sharing their opinions. And based on what we are reading, we think that you have achieved this goal admirably. We also felt that your readers noticed that you are not only referring to your family but alson including the broader readers community in the narration. It appears that your readership have comprehended your admirable desire for a relaxed atmosphere in this forum.
ReplyDeleteThough we have stayed away from these conversations, but it is possible that our comments may have been a cause of despair and anguish, if so, please accept our apologies
Thank you
Dave and Linda
I am absolutely red faced today. I did not realize that I should not have been saying bad things about the gentleman and Smile's family. I got carried away so many times, for which I want to apologize to him.
ReplyDeleteI will also like to say to mrizvi, that I am sorry. I did not mean my comments to be offensive but they were.
Thank you Smile for showing me the way
My Smile is amazing that with a single stroke of her pen, she made us become polite and courteous people. I remember a movie called "To Sir with Love" and what Smile is doing to us is no less
ReplyDeletethank you Smile
The transformation I am seeing in this blog today is nothing short of brilliant. Not a single comment about Smile's only son, not even about mirziv!!
ReplyDeleteNo doubt that Smile is Smile
Dear mrizvi: Usually I would have been rude to you but Smile's today's blog had a significant influence on me. Though she asked her readers family to not say rude anything about her family however as she writes, it is really a signal to us to be kind in general. She writes very powerfully, she does not need to spell things out, just point to them. That is the reason why we have been asking you to read as well. I do want to apologize to you. I also want to apologize to Smile's son and her grandkids.
