      Customers say that best part of the day is that they come here to read and talk. For me, the best part is all my customers. I used to be by myself most of the time before I started posting the blog but now always have customers. Sometimes people come from another village too. They come to chat, to socialize, to discuss so many things, and it all started when I accidentaly stumbled on the blog. I liked it and posted it. In a few days, my small shop is now a community corner.

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees met this morning to discuss the blog. We could not come to a consensus of what is the most enjoyable thing we do. Some like bird watching, they mentioned that his was the best thing that you introduced to them, for others it was watching sports, for some others it is sleeping or eating

    I don't think it was difficult for yourself to guess what our favorite part of the day is. We wake up in the morning to a fresh supply of our favorite reading material, and a fresh cup of home brewed coffee. Since we have our latest gadgets, we have the opportunity to keep coming back to it multiple times during the day to your inspirational words.

      As for me, the best part of my day is reading mrizvi's good post comment. Without this comment, I am not sure if I will know if Smile's blog is good or not. Really

      Plunker why are you surprised, we all know about mrizvi. We have tried so hard but not sure why mrizvi never reads

      My best part of the day is somewhat embarrassing to admit. Every day I try to live up to some of the words that Smile writes. I know I cant do all, but I try to do at least 50% of what she writes for us, but I always fail. The only one time when I succeeded was sometimes back, when Smile asked us to face the day bravely. I did that. I had a really bad day at work, but I just kept taking one step at a time and made through it. I still remember the blog, it was "It too shall pass". I dont want to go in details but that blog transformed my life as dramatically as the life of the daughter in law

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
