Are You Coming ?
When I hear calling my son
Mom I am going to drop Kids
to Hockey Arena are you
coming ?
Or when he says I am going to
Lake are you coming ?
believe me at that time
I never forget to say
Thank You God
Can you imagine in this era
of digital technology where
even books are now on Discs
if he is not sick of his
70 plus Mom I have to say
Thank you God
With the generation gap and
all the family engagements
if our children give any time
to us make phone calls to
us it is really amazing
When my Daughter in law decides
Dinner Menu with me goes for
grocery with me I say thank you
God she is not my blood
With all my Plus and Minuses
I am handling everything not
because of me it is the power
God giving to me to take things
easy and to enjoy my Life
So many things in our Life
we take for granted like our
kids calling asking are you OK
do you need anything ?
Even for their brief calls we have
to admire and give credit to
them and show our happiness
Also give credit to yourself
for keeping connection alive
with the next generation
your children
keep smiling no one likes a
bad weather report
so keep all complains to you
just zip up and smile
Problems lie within us solutions
lie within us so nurture yourself
by giving treats a hot cup of
tea or coffee at your favorite
spot to keep strength to face
anything with courage and grace
Don't forget to be thankful to God
that our Kids still have time for us
Don't take it for granted
Dear Madam Smile, you so nice. You appreciate everything. Even when your only son ask you for help in dropping son sons to hockey or your daughter in law ask you help for grocery, you no complain but say thanks. You big shot, but you still nice. I do 2 job so no time to grocery.

We went for our Smile Walk and discussed the idea of having the next 2 Toastmasters meeting dedicated to Smile's blog. We were thinking of covering all the items in one meeting but cant. She has given so much material to us

What a gracious post from the iron lady. This is absolutely mind blowing. Smile, is teaching us all to be absolutely kind. Her only son, who we all know, has been a menace to her, is probably asking her to come so he can pay for the gas, or pay for the groceries, or get candies for his little kiddies, yet she is thanking her. Her daughter in law should be the one planning the menu all by herself, yet she is asking Smile to be involved so Smile can help out, yet how Smile responds - with utter kindness. She is a difficult act to follow

I just was finding it so difficult to believe that you are actually thanking someone who is juicing you all the time. But my mistake was that I was looking it from my eyes and not from yours.
