To My Retiree Friends
and Seniors like me
When I think back about My 
Parents I feel they were very
strong I believe every Parent
is like that 

When we grow older our body
becomes weak but all the
great experience of coping with
Life is on our Resume 

We tackled all the difficult
Moments in our Life with
patience and grace

I don't believe Retirement
is like a contagious disease
and old age is like a Waiting
Area where we have to wait
for our last train 

Train to go to leave to depart
cut all our strings from our
family and friends

 I believe every Parent is living
and enjoying a much better 
life than parents of Era before

I still remember half a century
back my Mom cooking on one
gasoline stove for family of seven
then it was my turn 

I was cooking with two gas
burners had my black and white
TV and my education
my family and work life

Nearly half a century after my
children are Parents with all
the High Tech facilities

World is moving forward with
greater opportunities to enjoy

To me Retirement is like a
Fly Away from our cage 
cage of work and cage of
household responsibilities

Now it is time to do our own
things we never thought before
we never had time to think 
about before

Let us celebrate our Retirement
age start doing our things and
enjoy the Golden Years we have
This is Gift from God for us
Thank You God

    Father say you blog always make feel better. He say you positive and give energy to him. He say he learn lot from you. He no understand how you did so many things. Father say that he worked only but no did that good at work. I tell him that he no think that and no compare with you because you big shot. I will take him to walk tomorrow as he say it too cold today as temp is 16C and he old man, almost 67

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees appreciate you writing an inspiring blog to help us be positive. We talked about it during our morning coffee meeting and were very appreciative of it.

    We have postponed our Smile Walk today also as it was not sunny and no. of retirees are not comfortable starting a new venture in inclement conditions. We are hoping to start that from tomorrow

    We have been enjoying the constant access to the blogs that our hand held devices provide us. We both frequently refer to the blog during the course of each day. It provides an opportunity to reflect on the blog and keep us current.

    Though we have been enjoying our daily dosage of Smile vitamins, we realize that we may have been short changing yourself by not providing our rudimentary comments. I hope you will excuse us for being negligent

    We wanted to share our perspective on your today's blog. It is true that we are more technologically advanced, it is also correct that we are making more elaborate use of the scientific achievements, as an example our handheld devices allow us to always keep us connected with your wise words, however we are wondering what your introspection is regarding stress and mental anxiety that it creates.   January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
