Today's Blog

It is 18th of October we are
still waiting for Fall in Toronto
weather is great perfect for a walk

It is 22 today slight windy no gust
Sun not too hot just to warm us up
last week we had to use light jackets
and sweaters

Today I am in my light shirt
I was with my friend at someone's
place she picked me up at 11.30
I was back at 1 pm 

Thinking to have my lunch 
switched on my computer
got your comments on my
Today's Blog

Looked through my room
window it was all beautiful
a scenic view 

 yellow leaves in the air were
like God is showering gold
for everyone

I changed my mind to have lunch
at home changed my clothes
to roll on street

There was so much gold 
everywhere for everyone
then I realized I don't need gold

I need Peace and Happiness
which God is providing me
at every step of my Life
through His Guidance

I am already Rich 
sitting in my favorite Tim Hortons
with my favorite menu 
small Double Double and toasted
Raisin tea biscuit

Thank you God for being with me
all the times and for making me rich
I don't deserve anything
it is all because of your Kindness
My Lord

    We cherish the fall colours, so it was with delightful pleasure that we went through the blog. As usual, a cup of coffee accompanied the blog. We prefer the blog with coffee, as it adds some extra colour (and stimulant) :-)

    We appreciate you writing daily. More so, we appreciate you being such an inspiration to us. We had some company over the weekend and we talked about the blogs at length.

    Dear Advisor,

    Thank you for your blog. We enjoyed it, specially the reference of the yellow leafs to gold. One of our members is an ex investment banker who also does trading in commodities including gold, he was specially enthused by this reference as he never thought of gold in this context.

    We also met yesterday in an emergency meeting to discuss your suggestion about walking. If you can provide some tips to us as to how to plan the route, the duration, attire as well as anything else that we need to consider.

    Also, please don't thank me for posting my comments in English. There were a no. of customers who were a little upset with me that I have been posting them in Irish and you had to specifically asked me to post them in English. I apologize for using Irish before. I was posting them in Irish to let you know that you have readers in Ireland too and was not trying to make it difficult. Again I am sorry. My customers are upset and I want to say sorry to them as well

    This blog made me speechless. Smile has so much to give. Smile always is thankful. She takes buses to go to clubs, she takes care of his grand kids, take them to hockey practices, get money for his son (even though he does not take any care of her), in fact even takes her to senior housing for dinners, she is just a fantastic person and a true inspiration. If you ever wanted to see a giver, then it is her

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
