Today it is 4 degrees but drizzling 
all day I was planning to go for
a walk but not a good day

I keep reminding myself that I live
in Canada so never be demanding
with weather what is there is there
just go for it

Winter is close by and day by day
temperature goes on slipping away
we start giving value to the plus
temperature even if it is 2 degrees

When we start losing something 
we feel it's value same is with
weather but it is raining and to
walk with umbrella is not a good
idea I don't mind snow but walking
in rain not me

Now I have to plan my day and find
something to get busy try to
engage with other things 

My son is working from home so
God gave me opportunity to get
busy and gave me a day plan 

I am busy with doing things for him
giving him lunch and tea in
between his meetings and work

I enjoy this more than anything
then after 3 pm my grand kids
will be back from school so will
set snacks on the table for them

When you see the satisfaction
and smile on the faces of your
family and friends after that
you don't need anything else

This is called the real happiness
we earn we command not the
demanded one

This is the positive utilization
of our time to get busy and away
from our loneliness 

I value it more than anything
believe me it is amazing

    Dear Madam Smile, I feel so sad when I read you today blog. Instead of your only son helping you, taking care of you, you giving him food and tea. I do 2 job and no work home because I lose wage. In my culture, kids suppose to take care mother and not mother taking care son

    My Smile is so awesome! She is an awesome person even though her only Son is not taking care of her, she is taking care of him. What an awesome person she is

    What a refreshing post, I'm happy you didn't let the weather ruin your day. When one is as self-content and so at peace as you are, it is only natural that nothing can get in your way. Everyone should adopt your mindset and then I'm sure there would be less cases of unhappiness in the world.

    Here we go again. Every week, I make a promise to myself that I will not comment about Smile's only son. I call it my weekly resolution. And every week I break that resolution. How can I not break it. She does so much for the blighter, and yet he always disappoints. Getting money for him, her own money, mind you. And that's not all,. Feeding his cubs, every day, mind you. And yet all this is not good enough for Mr. big shot. There are days he decides to just go out and work from home, and let our Smile feed him too. Not just feed him, get him coffee, cakes, snacks, whatever the little prince desires. This is just too much. I am really frustrated with him

    I completely agree with Plunker. Smile's only son should take care of her and not the other way around. She should not be hopping from bus to bus to get to her clubs. She should not be made to sit in cold hockey rinks so his spoiled youths can pretend to be Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid. She should not have to fill their empty stomaches when they return on empty from school. She should not have to take out money from her bank account for the corporate chimp.

    When will he learn that Smile needs some rest and relaxation as well

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
