It is 10 in the morning 13 and
cloudy still not chilly I am at
Don Beer Hockey Arena with
My Son and all 3 Grand kids

My elder one is in Grade 12
Today he will be the Head Coach
the next one who is in Grade 10
will be Assisting and the 3rd one
is playing

When there are all 3 Teenagers
together in House League
you have to keep an eye anything
could happen My Son will be having
a watch

I am watching them coaching 
first time in their Life and also
walking around between the Rinks
in the Arena also writing my Blog

Now I am walking outside in the
Woods for a while it is cold as
wind started blowing but not too hard

I love the wild a different Aroma
here you not only watching so
close to Nature like touching and
can have a Real Feel for Everything

I can see all variety of Wild
vegetation the untouched beauty
very Raw it is such a contrast form
the atmosphere inside the Arena

So quiet and still just the sigh of
bushes who bravely facing the blow
of wind lashing out 

Game is done so I have to go inside
the Arena I think time to leave now

      @ Plunker: Sheema must have read this. There is no way he would have been able to know that Smile loves nature if he would not have been reading these blogs. I also enjoyed the piece that Smile wrote about nature. She used her words to paint the picture. It was so clear in my mind that I felt that I can touch those bushes

    Dear Madam Smile, It is so good that you grandson is coach for hockey. I do 2 job and dont know about hockey. You went o help your son and grandkids. That is so nice

    This is great news. I am getting emails from my retiree club members congratulating you for this.

    Also, a selfish request. We will be meeting on Tuesday to review and discuss the list that our retired corporate executive put together of your suggestions. We have already decided that there is no way we can even do most of the things that you do. It will be very helpful, if you can suggest one or two things that we can do.

    This is thrilling news! Congratulations. IT appears to us that your grandkids feel quite close to you. This is somewhat unusual as our experience based on the various social interactions is that it typically the other way around ie grand parents doting on the grandkids, but these feelings are not usually reciprocated. We made this observation based on your close relationships with them when you visited them in Grimsby, London (ie both the wedding and when you were at Throton Heath) and also in Toronto.

    I am sorry I haven't read your blogs in a while, 8 have been sick from my jet lag. In times like these, I think you are Wonder Woman to recover so quickly. I have been down for the week. Is there something you eat in your diet which makes you so strong?

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
