Our Tutor

Universe is our tutor
our life is our class
everything that happens is
part of our custom
crafted curriculum 
we can ignore our
assignments and take  the
same class as many times
as we choose

We have been a student
in the Earth school
since we were born
we can not change 
anything in this school
like our parents, boss
employees, or classmates

we have to change ourselves
that is our task as a student
our most painful emotions
show you what you are
most resistant to
changing
They are the ones that occur
most often as you have
failed to do your
homework and we
refuse to take it 
seriously

It is our fault that if we
ignore, it will go away
It will not
it will ruin our life
look inside yourself and
tackle the very painful emotion
giving you all the
trouble like depression,
jealousy, rage etc

Begin the experiment 
with the idea that you not
the other people are the
cause of your emotions
the pain is not a problem
it is calling your
attention

As long as we are alive
energy flows into
our system through
the center at the crown
of our head and moves
downwards

There are two ways 
energy can leave our
system, in fear and 
doubt or in love and trust
throughout our life
we choose from moment
to moment
whether we will learn 
through fear and doubt
or love and trust

    Dear Smile, Your writings are very uplifting and insightful. Thank you for making my day get to a good start.

    Since I am having a tough day today, I wanted to also share that it is difficult to remain positive all the time. Too many "small" incidents happen which makes it difficult to keep this attitude. I am sure it happens to you as well. Wondering if you can address it in one of the future posts or perhaps respond in Comments section.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
