In Canada summer means a lot really a lot
We wait and dream so long for that
and now cant wait to get out and roll
We had a small backyard years back
now we have a big backyard but
no one has time to use it

Everyone is out of the house
Kids playing Basketball thanks to 
Toronto Raptors
Everyone can afford this game
you just need a ball
Parents relaxed they don't have to worry
about the expensive Kits like in other sports
Get one Pole outside and that's it
It is only one time expenditure


About my big Backyard I overhear all the times
I did water yesterday I am not going to cut the grass
the weeds, the Hedges and so on
Nobody happy to do that so my son volunteers
Not looking happy at all then I start thinking,
was the Big Backyard a good idea, not any more
But I am out of it, it is none of  my business


I enjoy my walk, the Nature, breathing the air
 scented with flowers and freshly cut grass
Birds busy making Nests chirping happily and the
clear sky, everything so breathtaking

I never forget to thank God the Almighty
for giving us all this to enjoy above all gave me
health and strength to walk, power to see, hear
to think and to admire
I am grateful for the Happiness inside my heart
Because of that happiness I feel good and
able to admire the beauty around me

I don't  mind walking  alone I think we all
are here to face the world alone
We have to force ourselves to enjoy
each and every moment of our life to get going
and making no complaints, take it as a duty
Nobody likes grumbling and grumpy faces
it's like bad weather report

People will stay away as no one wants
to spoil their day
Force yourself to look happy
and you will get the company
Those who cry end up in crying alone
and when we laugh whole 
world wants to share so
go with the flow and enjoy your Day

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
