It is Monday cold bright beautiful sunny morning. It is 10 C below  zero. I know it is nearly April but this is Canada my Dear. We can  handle, just bring it on, snow is now gone for sure. That is enough to  celebrate. Birds started visiting my back garden. Black Squirrel is back for his  workouts  on the wooden fence of my back garden. It is not a garden  with snow  around but it will be, as snow started melting down.  My pear tree on the left is looking like a skeleton but it is just  matter  of days. It will turn into a tree with full of blossoms,  full of life.  It is 9.15, I am working part time today, playing Darts only. No Carpet  Bowling on Mondays. I will be back home after 12. It is Thursday bright beautiful sunny morning. It is 3 C not below zero. What a surprise for we Canadians. Couple of days back, it was 26 C below zero.Birds are back from South of the Border.  Black Squirrel is back for his workouts on the wooden fence of my back garden. It is time to start celebrations. Spring is just around the corner.  Magnolia tree will be the first one to spread happiness, giving color to my front garden. I cant wait anymore. The pear tree, which is giving a look of skeleton will be back to life with full bloom. Spring is time of revival of life, time of celebrations. Autumn is time to collect treasures. Happy Saint Patrick's Day to All My Dear Readers It is Friday, weather is a bit mild, still 17 C below zero but it was 26 C  below  zero just two days back. Weather Channel making some promises  for the  days ahead, let's see. It is bright sunny beautiful morning anyway. It is 9.15, I am sitting in the Billiard room, writing my Blog. I am working full time today playing Darts and and Carpet Bowling too, will be back  home  after 3 pm.  Today is PA day so schools in Durham Region, are closed. Some kids  program  is going on here. It is already March but snow not going anywhere. Last week was big wind  storm  with 120 km gusts, just two days after, was snow storm with  20 cm of   snow and  60 km gusts. Today it is 2 cm so far, not much  Just a  piece of cake  for us in  Toronto. In New Brunswick, it is 40 cm of snow.  New Brunswick is  a province of Canada. It is Monday morning bright sunny still cold and windy with gust 70 km. It is 16 C below zero right now. Last night was a big wind storm with rain  snow  and gusts 120 km. We were all set with our flash lights and candles but everything was fine. We survived. It is over now, still cold, windy and snow everywhere. Anyway it is 9.15, I am sitting in the Billiard room, writing my Blog. Library will open at 9.30, I will go there to browse my favorite magazines, "Birds and Blooms" and "Cottage Life". To me library looks like a  "Wonderland"  with so much to look around, to absorb, to get  happiness,  to meditate,  to brush up your minds, body and heart. It is Sunday morning, bright sunny, but my Dear, wind storm is on it's way  with gusts 120 km, will be with rain and snow too. there is wind warning  and we are asked  to keep our candles ready. Let us see. It already started but peak time will be in the evening. I have to avail the time slot to get out. My Son planning to go to Gym after 12, that will be  perfect for me. I will go with him. For now I am enjoying my TV time, watching "Colombo". I am done  with  my breakfast and already gone through my Facebook messages. I am also done with my two loads of laundry, my clothes and  my bed sheets. It is 11 am, I will watch half of the "Colombo", I will finish the rest any time next week. It is Tuesday, bright beautiful sunny morning. It is 13 C below zero, not bad. I am done with my breakfast and with my Facebook messages.  It is 10 am, I am in my TV lounge, enjoying the view of my backyard through the big glass panels, in front. I am also watching TV. "Funny Farm" is a two hour movie, watched half  of that yesterday, I will finish the rest today. Kids are at school, my Eldest  is  sleeping. He is here for a week, from his Uni.  It is Tuesday, I am not working today. I have to make some calls. I will call my sister in law, she lives in Aurora. She is not feeling well nowadays. I will also call my childhood friend, she lives in London, England. My Son is home, he has taken one week off. He is planning to go to  Costco,  I will go with him. It is always good to get out. It is Sunday morning, weather not so bad. It is 15 C below zero. We are done with the snow storm of the decades, last week. It was too much even  for we Canadians. Nearly 25 cm of snow, we handled anyway. I am done with my breakfast, my oatmeal porridge, stir fried egg and half  a cup  of tea. I was on my computer to browse my Facebook messages.  I usually start  my day with that. It is 10 am, I am in my TV lounge, watching "Colombo"  also enjoying the beauty of my backyard. It is Monday, cold morning with 13 C below zero, snow everywhere. It is 9.15, I am sitting in the Billiard room, writing my Blog. Library  will open at 9.30. I will go there to browse magazines of my choice. I am working part time today, playing Darts only, no Carpet Bowling on Mondays, go home after 12.15. Last night, I was awake, happens some times, like an  old age syndrome.  It was 3.45 am, nearly morning. Sun was  just  couple of hours away to  brighten my place. Sometimes you go back to sleep right away, but it could be  anything, always  unpredictable. Old age is full of surprises. At this stage, we  are done with  all the experiments in our lives, t asted  all the fruits, bitter and sweet. Now time to recollect our memories,  to enjoy and relax. It is Friday morning, very tricky weather, windy with gusts 90 km. Yesterday it was 6 C below zero, today everywhere like an Ice Rink. Not safe for anyone  to walk , specially for we seniors. It is 9.30 I am in my office cubicle, writing my Blog, At 10 am, will go to the  next room to play Darts. I am working full time, today Carpet Bowling too so go back home after 3 pm. My Eldest Grandson is doing his IV program at Western, in London  Ontario.  He called and told me that he wants some points for his business  assignment.  My answer was, "OK I give it to your Dad", in my mind, he  needed  his help.  He clarified that he will do the assignment, based on my interview and  my  story of life. It is Sunday 11.30 in the morning, I am sitting in Tim Horton. Enjoying my half and half coffee with two cream, one sugar and one carrot walnut muffin. I believe, we have to give color to our moments in hand. Take it like time  to do some celebrations. We have to give a warmhearted welcome, to our  own self too, I believe. Life is the same for everyone, with all ups and downs. It is all up to us, how we take it. I try to cherish every moment. It will never  back to you again. Every moment, we spend, is like an episode of our own story of life.  When it is slipping away out of our life, we have to have a feel for that. Not a feel of regret, neither a feel of sorrow or sadness. Please don't do that way. Even the moments were hard, give credit to yourselves. Make sure to remind that you faced those moments with all the courage, grace and dignity. Don't forget to thank God. He made it possible for you to handle everything.  If...

It is Saturday morning with 17 C below zero, yes below zero. This is month  of February and this is Canada my Dear. What else you expect. It is 11.45, I am done with my breakfast and also doing with my two loads of laundry. I watched "Colombo" too, while doing my clothes. It is 12 Noon, I am now in the office of "Service Ontario" as my Son has to  do  his driving licence. I love to get out and get busy so I am here. My Son is  busy  with his paper work, I am busy writing my Blog.  From this office, He will go to gym,  will drop me at Pickering Town  Centre,  it is just across.  It is 1.15, I am in the Shopping mall, walking  around, to  enjoy my own time. It is Wednesday very cold morning with 31 C below zero. It is 9.15, I am  sitting in the Billiard room in the library, writing my Blog also having the  view through the big glass window. Parking lot is very icy, just like my  driveway. This like called black ice, very tricky to walk.  I had my hip surgery years back so three nails are stuck on my left side. We at our age, have to be extra careful while walking around in such a  situation.  On Monday evening, it was worse. There was 26 cm of snow,  our city had one  day in decade. Tuesday morning, all cars looked embedded under heaps of snow. It was  windy too, gusts 54 km. Trees displaying mixed scenario. I mean some  of the  skeleton trees with white silvery decorations, looked ready for Christmas  Festivities,  while others were stand still like in wait  and see situation. It is Monday very cold morning with 25 C below zero with gust 53 km. Snow everywhere, still more to come any time soon. This is Canada  my Dear. What else you can expect. On Saturday, we had "Great Friends Day" at our library. City does it every  year. They invite Teens and community people to come and play with us.  Not many were there from our club. One of my friend called to pick me up. We have to sign up for that event,  I was already on the list. In the library, I arranged Dart board to play with  some teens and youth from school and other institutions. They were playing for the first time, they learned how to play, we enjoyed. There were many games, like card games, table tennis, putting, trivia,  painting.There was also coffee/tea sandwiches and deserts, so much to enjoy. It is Tuesday snowing very cold it was 23 C below zero in the morning. Yesterday 38 C below zero. Today no chance for my walk to Tim Horton  but Yesterday I went to library for my my part time work. It was only  Darts  no Carpet Bowling. I can see lots of snow everywhere. Skeleton trees are loaded with white Blossoms. Everyone to work and school. I am sitting on an empty nest. I divided my time to get myself busy. I made some special carrot desert. It needs lots of work and lots of time too. I have to blend and cook with milk.  I made Baked Pasta for kids, with milk and  cheese. They love it. It is Friday, I am working full time today. My Son was not feeling well so I skipped on Wednesday. I don't work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I am  at my work place after so many days. We have to be with our family whenever they need some sort of support. I believe that family always comes first. It is 9.30, I am at the library,...

It is Saturday morning with 24 C below zero, at night expected to be 41 C below zero. Life goes on, here nothing stops. Yesterday night,  my Son was going to Gym, I went to Pickering Mall. It is just across. He picked me after an hour, after his Gym time. I saw Black squirrel in the morning, playing around the wooden fence  in my backyard. Master Golden is getting ready to get his admission in the Uni of his choice. Time flies. Things change so quickly. Slurpee Boy will also be gone.  It is matter of  only  couple of years. We have to value every moment,  we spend with our family, with our kids. After a while we will be sitting in an empty nest. They all will fly away, sooner or later.  On Thursday, our Club arranged Pot Luck for members. We have to buy tickets for that. It was 9 dollars per head. We had Sandwiches, Salad, Desert, coffee and tea. I don't care about the food but I enjoyed the atmosphere. It is always good...
