Happy Saint Patrick's Day to
All My Dear Readers

It is Friday, weather is a bit mild, still 17 C below zero but it was 26 C
below zero just two days back. Weather Channel making some promises
for the days ahead, let's see. It is bright sunny beautiful morning anyway.

It is 9.15, I am sitting in the Billiard room, writing my Blog. I am working
full time today playing Darts and and Carpet Bowling too, will be back
home after 3 pm.

Today is PA day so schools in Durham Region, are closed. Some kids
program is going on here. Kids are all around, I am enjoying the festive
atmosphere. Kids for me are always are a source of inspiration.

They are too focused and immersed in the present moment in hand.
Kids know very clearly, how to lead a life with full of happiness.
It is so beautiful around here.

One five year old boy playing piano. Some playing with blocks, making
their own dream houses. Some running around to enjoy their moments.
Amazing. We can learn our lessons how to lead a happy life, from kids.

It is 9.30, time to go to the library to enjoy my own present moments.
Life is beautiful, no doubt it is gift from God. Be happy and try to enjoy.

Dear Retiree Friends, I got slip on pants, I mean with elastic one, not the
stretch pants. My apology, to get you people confused. I wear lose elastic
pants. Anyway, we have to go with whatever goes with us, to make us feel
good.

Dear Reader doing 2 jobs, it is very rude to suggest anyone, what to wear.
It is also rude to make personal comments. No one likes that. I hope you
understand.

My Dear Friends in Ireland, I am very happy with the friendly
atmosphere at Blog Reading Sessions. Please keep it like that.
Thanks.

  1. I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Even though it is a holiday here because of St Patrick's day but I still opened the shop as the customers were insisting that I do. The councillor was here too as this is campaign headquarters. One customer said to him that will he complain about opening on St Patrick's day to the police just like he did last year, the councillor said that what happened last year was different. He then asked everyone to wish you Happy St Patrick's day. The priest also came and joined in wishing you Happy St Patrick's day. On behalf of myself and all your Irish fans "Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhaoibh!"

  5. I will love to watch programs like you do with your son but I cant. My disrespectful daughter in law does not let me watch any tv because she is watching her soaps all the time. Also she hounds my son and always try to interfere between us. She reads your blog every day but does not learn from you. Perhaps because she is not very smart. I dont want to say anything bad because you dont like that.

  7. Dear Advisor,

We read your blog with a lot of interest today. The retired child specialist led the reading of the blog. She pointed out that the child development you have defined is very informative.

After the reading completed many retirees said that they will return the stretch pants that they bought for the Smile celebration that we had on Thursday and exchange that with the slip on pants. To let you know, the celebration was a big hit. Everyone came even though it was raining a lot that day. Hijab lady came as well with her temple friends but they wore loose traditional pants. They said that they wear them back home and are wearing them in homour of you. The retired priest didnt like that and said that if they dont wear proper clothes here then they should go back home. The hijab lady tried to explain to him that this is very respectable clothing but he did not listen. It was getting very loud and the restaurant manager did not appreciate that as it was affecting his business. There were a lot of people here as the hospital staff was here too along with ex-patients. The restaurant made ground beef with green peas as a mark of respect. They were offering it at discount prices and were counting on lots of customers. With this noise, a lot of their regular customers were leaving. In the end, we resolved the situation by asking the temple people to leave. We wanted the retired priest to leave also but some retirees protested that he is one of us and should not be asked to leave.

    Thank you

  8. Dear Author,

We read your blog at the Smile Garden today. There were not that many attendees today as some went to the protest organized for the Christchurch incident. The Dean and Prof George were involved in organizing that. They were also not here . They never miss a reading and they didnt miss today's also. They held an earlier reading at the SRC earlier in the mornnig. Mrs Lucy brought goodies for both the readings. She made ground beef with peas for the first one and carrot dessert for the 2nd reading. The Dean encouraged a no. of students to participate in the protest. He pointed out that we need to stand against hatred. The Smile Army were not in favour of that. The idiots said that your blog readings are the only thing that everyone should focus on. Prof George tried to explain to them that you are preaching a message of love and will not mind if anyone skips the reading in the traditional settings but the goofs are all muscles and no smarts

    thank you

  9. I am writing my comment from the hotel as I am travelling to our Australian office to help them cope with the tragic incident in a neighbouring country. We are continuing to read your blogs on a daily basis in our cabinet meetings. So much is your influence on us that when I asked our VP of Marketing to work with the communications department to put together a speech for me, they presented me with a speech which is full of the extracts from your previous blogs. When I asked them the rationale, they said that they chose these words as they are simple, folksy, powerful, meaningful and hopeful.

    Thank you
