It is full of surprises
It is Monday, cold morning with 13 C below zero, snow everywhere.
It is 9.15, I am sitting in the Billiard room, writing my Blog. Library
will open at 9.30. I will go there to browse magazines of my choice.
I am working part time today, playing Darts only, no Carpet Bowling
on Mondays, go home after 12.15.
Last night, I was awake, happens some times, like an old age syndrome.
It was 3.45 am, nearly morning. Sun was just couple of hours away to
brighten my place.
Sometimes you go back to sleep right away, but it could be anything, always
unpredictable. Old age is full of surprises. At this stage, we are done with
all the experiments in our lives, tasted all the fruits, bitter and sweet.
Now time to recollect our memories, to enjoy and relax. We are now retired,
and done with bringing up our kids, so time in our hands and no pressure.
It is time to enjoy our Golden Era.
Niklas My Friend, please don't cheat. My Grandson had his assignment to
interview someone. He picked me. He was not cheating. I am worried about
My Friend Hannah.
My Friends in Ireland. I don't believe in dividing people on the basis of their Caste and Creed. We all are Creatures of the same God and members of the same Human Family.
Keep in mind that people everywhere, are the same. Politicians divide to rule, not the public. My Dear Priest, please try to spread harmony and happiness around.
We don't have to take their happiness away. Let people decide, no one has
to dictate. Whoever wins, please treat the other party as their friends, not
like enemies. Everyone has to be patient. Patience is virtue.
I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. This is market day but customers are coming to my shop in waves. They come here to read the blog first before going to the market. We have lots of people from out of town who come to read blog and then do shopping. They are talking about Smile's blogs. The Councillor is here also with his supporters. They said that you have taken a shot at the priest because he is not creating harmony but creating problems. He said that after he gets re-elected, he will start these readings in city hall as there is much more room there. The priest however was not pleased, he said that non religious people should not be telling him what to do. They should mind their own business. He again reminded everyone that British aristocrats who have studied at Oxford or Cambridge know how to use their silver tongue and flowery language to play with words. Lot of people left with him. I am nervous that more will go.

I say my Madam done with all experiment but she still need go -13C. He say but she want go out and enjoy. I say yes but why her only son drop her in library so early that she need wait and also sometime she need go her office with friend and he never clean driveway. It scary and my Madam can slip. Mr. Supervisor say but she no write that how you know? I say she no write today but she write in other blog. I then say but how you know what Madam write because I no show you blog? He say he need go to make important phone. I do 2 proud job and always read blog

ReplyDeleteThe retirees did not go for our long walk today. We are still very tired from the walk from yesterday. Some of the retirees are still suffering from cramps also. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. The retirees instead went straight to the reading of your blog.
The retirees were feeling down after reading your blog today. The retirees noticed that you mentioned that you mentioned that the retirees are done with all the experiments and have nothing more to look forward to. Some retirees were so distraught that they did not stay for the post blog discussion and the status updates from the various subcommittees. We always spend 40-60 mins after the meeting to get updates from the various committees.
The hijab lady was here and said that in their religion, seniors have a special respect. She wanted to tell us about the quotes from their leaders but we were not interested and left

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the Smile Garden today. Your blog created a lot of buzz as the Dean was not here today. He never misses a reading. We asked Prof George if the Dean is travelling but Prof George did not give a good answer. We are hearing rumors that Dean is having problems at home, but even when he had that previously, he still used to come, so we have no idea whats going on. Mrs. Lucy was here and had Smile read for everyone. The Smile Army had a meeting afterwards in which they wanted to plan for cheating. Prof George tried to explain to them that you are not saying that, in fact you are very clear that you were just helping out your grandson, but the idiots were so excited that they simply said that this is what you were encouraging in your last blog. It was chaos. It was only when we started playing darts that things calmed down. Darts always help to calm things down as your son is not very popular here
