Check and Balance
It is Saturday morning with 17 C below zero, yes below zero. This is month
of February and this is Canada my Dear. What else you expect. It is 11.45,
I am done with my breakfast and also doing with my two loads of laundry.
I watched "Colombo" too, while doing my clothes.
It is 12 Noon, I am now in the office of "Service Ontario" as my Son has to
do his driving licence. I love to get out and get busy so I am here. My Son is
busy with his paper work, I am busy writing my Blog.
From this office, He will go to gym, will drop me at Pickering Town
Centre, it is just across. It is 1.15, I am in the Shopping mall, walking
around, to enjoy my own time. He will pick me up after about an hour
or so. He knows I can enjoy my own time with my own company.
I have enough time so I decided to look for my pants. It is not an easy job.
I am old so keep on shrinking day by day. It is tough to find my size, while
I have some other specifications too, like has to be comfortable and just
pull on, no buttons, no jeans.
I was passing by the "Reitmans" my favorite store. I don't like to buy things with high price tags. There was a clearance rack and by chance I got what
I needed. The exact size with right specifications. For years I was looking
for one more of my pants then I gave up but today was the day.
Then, to treat myself I was in the food court. I don't eat much so "what to
eat", is always a tough decision for me. It was 2 pm, I was hungry, so
decided to go for small Italian herb multigrain toasted veggie subway.
It was amazing.
Then I had a small coffee from Tim Horton, with half hot water, two cream
and one sugar. I made my day. We always have to treat ourselves well
otherwise our Body wont cooperate and our Mind wont listen.
It has to be like a check and balance sort of process. I don't like to say
"Carrot and Stick", I think, this is rude to say. Rude for anybody, to our
own selves. There has to be a balance in everything in our lives.
That always go smooth and work well.
Dear Friends in Ireland, My Friend Priest is right, I am not endorsing
anyone. It is completely Town People Decision. I trust you people will go
for the right choice. Whoever wins or lose, must be very considerate and
has to be patient. Treat other group with dignity like friends, not enemies.
My Dear Friends Linda and Dave, I am happy that you people are selected
by Arts Association to host the Exhibition, this year too. It is great.

ReplyDeleteI have posted the blog in Smile Corner. As usual there were lots of customers today. There are more customers coming because your fresh bi weekly blogs are a novelty. The councillor appeared to be down but the priest was very pleased. He said that you are not just an outsider but also English. When the councilor challenged him on that and asked him how he knows, the priest said hat just look at the blog, can anyone who didnt go to a high end aristocratic private English school write this flowery blogs. The councillor challenged him again because British aristocracy is very much hated here. The customers are very nervous because they are sure that the priest will get the readings to shut down. We dont know what to do

ReplyDeleteThe retirees did not go for our walk because it is too cold for the retirees. The retired physical trainer told us that you also dont go for your walk so we should not feel bad. Some retirees didnt like the comment because you are are our advisor . The retirees then went straight to the reading of the blog
The retirees were surprised that you shop alone. All retirees typically go with their kids . The retirees also were surprised that your son left you alone and were shocked that he took you to the office even though it is -17C. The retirees thought that you should stay home because of the weather.
The temple priest was here today and he pointed out that in their religion the kids are supose to talk care of parents. The hijab lady was here and she reminded us again that their leaders say that mother needs to be taken special care and kids are not supposed to even say ouch when taking care of her. The retired priest tried to defend your son and said that the Christian kids are busy and more practical. As the discussion was getting too religious, the retirees left

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the SRC today. Ager the reading, Prof George said to the Dean that it is sad that your son took you to the Service Ontario office. The Dean simply nodded and said that he wishes the gentleman can understand that you need to be cared for, not only because you are a great author but a special person. The Smile Army heard that and started raising against your son. The Dean had to leave for a meeting so was not there to handle the situation. Prof George and several other professors tried to keep the idiots quiet but it didnt work. Finally the Dean had to come out from his office and within minutes everyone was quiet. Everyone has a lot of respect for him.

I am just banging my head against the wall. There is absolutely nothing which is working. I have tried to be kind, I have tried to be harsh, I have tried to be reasonable but it just is not working. And yet Smile wants us to be nice to everyone in this forum
