Literature Fellow My Friend asking about If it is OK
To Call Me Adviser -- My Dear Names are Just
To Identify We Humans

We  All are Human at The Time Our Birth Our Parents
Give us Names To Identify Their Children
When We Go To Schools and Complete Some Of Our
Education We are Given Names

These Denote Our Line Of Education I Mean Teacher
Doctor Engineer So On -- Then There are Other Names
To Identify Our Relationships Like Grandpa -- Papa
Mama So Many Names

When We Interact with Social Circles with Community
Other Names Come Up Like Brother -- Sister -- Sir
Madam These are Not Blood Relationships But
Of Great Value

These Names I Believe We Earn Out Of Our Interaction
This is Like a Crop We Reap There is No Guidelines
For That Not Any Rules

This is a Golden Linkage Between Strangers Who Get
Connected Like a Bond Feel Close and Sometimes Closer Than
Their Blood Relatives

This is The Bond Of Trust Bond Of Understanding
This is Not Complicated Very Simple -- When One Person
Has Faith In Other That He is Listening
This Bond Evolves and Flourishes

Listening is The Best Tool To Build Relationships
Listening Not Through Your Ears Listen Through
Your Whole Self

This Way You Can Have a Feel Of The Feelings
and Emotions Of The Person On The Other Side

It is Not Important To Have Visual Contact
Sometimes You Don't Know Him Personally
Still Have Trust That He Knows You and
Help You Out When You are Stuck

We All Have Our Moments Life is Not a Bed Of Roses
Life is Like a Trail Like an Unpaved Path with
Bushes All Around We Have To Walk
Through That -- That is Life

So My Dear Names are Nothing You Can Call Me Anything
But Have Trust That I am Listening and will Be There For You
For My Readers Family Relationships are Precious
Not To Lose For Everyone For Me Too

  7. Dear Advisor,

The retirees went for our long walk today. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. We had our lollipop after that

The retirees are very appreciative of your blog. The retired senior Anthropologist and retired Social Scientists were amazed at the blog. They have been helping students with being their thesis advisors and they thought that this unique take on naming is something that will come in very handy for future research.

The Smile with Smile program had a successful meeting yesterday with several schools. The principals of those schools as well as the board members were present. The committee shared the content of the program with them. Needless to say they were surprised by what they say. For example, they did not realize how much influence they as ell as coaches have on kids. The meeting was intended to garner support for the program so we can partner with other schools to expand its offering. The meeting concluded with the decision that this program will be offered to teachers and coaches as mandatory training. We will start off in one school as a pilot and evaluate its impacts. The school which has been chosen is the worst one in terms of its academic performance and student participation. I will keep you updated on the outcome of the program in this school

    thank you
    recent retiree
