Yesterday was Busy Day For Me
In The Morning I was at Christmas Bazar
Our Club Organized That in The Library Premises
In The Library There is Big Hall Which is
Divided into Two Rooms
In One Room We Play Darts and Carpet Bowling
While The Other Room used For Meetings
Yesterday There was No Partition
It was One Big Room
On The Darts Side Long Tables were Beautifully
Arranged with Jewellerey Purses -- Handicrafts
Perfumes and So Many Other Items -- There was
One Long Table For Bake Sale with Delicious Stuff
There were Vendors Too with Their Own Merchandise
There is One Billiard Room in the Library Where
Other used Household Stuff were Displayed For Sale
They Named It " White Elephant " It was Like Garage Sale
On The Meeting Room Side Cafeteria was Set up Small
Tables with 4 Chairs Young Students Volunteering in
Beautiful Colorful Dresses Making The Event
Very Pleasant To Enjoy
We Had Two Menus One For Full Lunch For $ 7 While The
Other One with Tea / Coffee with Cake Piece For $ 3
The Whole Event was Great Success It was Open To Public
Lots Of Cars No Place To Park
Beside Bazar I Had Three Gatherings at My Friends Places
One at 2 pm in The Neighboring City Of Ajax 20 Minutes
Away The Second One in Markham The Other Side
also 20 Minutes away and The Last One at 8 pm in Pickering
I was Back at 10.30
I Love To Be Busy It always Gives Me Power and
Energy I Feel Like I Can Still Move Around
I Still Can Handle Things
When Our Body is in Action Our Mind will Not Be
Stagnant This will Keep us away From Negative Thoughts
We Have No Time For That
Please Keep Yourself Busy It Doesn't Mean You Have To
Go Some Where -- Not at all Just Do Whatever You
Like To Do Get Involved in Things You will Enjoy
Find Some Hobby To Get Busy Like Watering Plants
Giving Food To Birds Reading Books Of Your Choice
Spend Some Time Sitting Quietly in Your Backyard
Anything Which Keeps You away From Negative Thoughts

SWN was great. Everyone was looking forward to it. I overheard someone that they had a team meeting this morning and the manager was very surprised that the team members are so cheerful on a Monday. She asked what's going on because the team used to feel very dull and lethargic on Mondays. Of course someone pointed out the blogs. They were surprised that the managers did not clue in on the reasons for their cheerfulness.

Smile Walk South was fun. We talked about Smile's blog from the weekend and today. As most people have kids, they were very much interested in the blog about Empty Nest. Some have asked Jimmy for extra copies so they can share with their spouses at home

My manager was also surprised when he heard people saying TGIM. When he asked that why are they celebrating Monday, as it usually is considered the worst day in the week as it is the first day back to work. They replied that yes they know, but now it is the day which we look forward to because we get to read 3 blogs and not 1.

Dear Madam Smile, You so good. You write so good. Mr. Supervisor come and say how you. I say I very busy. He say that very good but why were you watering plant and giving food to bird at lunch ? I say how you know because the grass turn green that quick? He say someone tell me. I say it good to keep busy, my Madam say that. He say yes but I think she no mean water garden at job and give food to bird at job because there is gardener who take care of water and he know how much water to give. Also, if you give food to bird then they create lot mess which gardener need clean. I say him but how you know what my Madam say because I no give you blog to read. He say he need go. I think he head hurt. I do 2 proud job and always read blog

ReplyDeleteWe had some new members how joined us today and upon listening to today's blog the new retirees mentioned that they are not being able to understand how you can attend Christmas Bazaar, write your daily blog, attend a community gathering and also take care of your family all in a single day. They said that it takes them weeks to do each of these items separately they attend Christmas Bazaar once a year, they very rarely attends community gatherings, they dont write blogs because they dont know how to and they dont take care of their families because they expect that they will take care of the retirees. We explained to them that this is either because of the special diet that you have or perhaps you go to a gym. They are asking if you an clarify
In the winter months, the retirees are very bored because we dont go for walks and dont do anything else. We are wondering if you can provide someideas

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the Smile Garden today. Your blog has inspired the Smile Army volunteers to decorate the Smile Garden. They are planning to make it special for Christmas as you enjoy Christmas celebrations. Also the great friends attended the reading today. When they heard about the decoration, they wanted to volunteer as well but the Dean asked them to hold on. In the past, the Dean has preferred that there should not be too much celebration for Christmas as it might not be appreciated by the students who follow a different religion. He is wondering what your direction is about this?
As our exams are over and our punishment cycle is ongoing, most of the students are trying to deal with the stress by coming to the Smile Garden. They also go to other places where there is internet available as their internet has been taken away
