    Dear Advisor,

    We are amazed that you are involved in so many different activities and yet are able to handle all these activities so well. We came to the realization after a few retirees had 2 appointments, they had a family dinner and also did shopping the same day. It is just too much to handle. We cant really able to manage that. At the shopping center we had to stay for very long as we had to get our weekly grocery shopping which is very tiring. We never schedule anything when we do grocery but some retirees were inspired by the fact that at times you do grocery shopping and also go to your friend's gathering or your grandson's game or something else, so we thought that we can do it too. Of course we were wrong.

    The joint family living committee is looking for some advice as some retirees did not have a good experience with their in law kids. Cam you suggest something

    Dear Author,

    We read your blog at the SRC today as the Smile Garden is still off limits to us. We noticed that there is a lot of preparations going on eg the Smile Army, the great friends as well as the police officers were helping. The police officers were working in their regular clothes and not in the uniform. The Dean and Professor George wanted to volunteer too but they were politely told by the Smile Army that they should not come in as they want to keep it a surpirse. The students from the local school also joined in the preparation. The bookstore manager informed us that he has run out of Christmas cards. Though he promised that he will give 50% of the profits however it looks like he has given much more than that already. He is seen bringing big boxes of decorations to the Smile Garden. When the Smile Army volunteers asked him to accept some payments, he said mo, this is all for Smile. All in all, we are heading into the New Year season with a smile. Thanks to you

Father say he yell Hannah lot today because she wake very late and no make brakfast father. Father say he go teach futbal to futbal kid. Father say he do lot. Father say it good idea that you go macdonal. Father say you need yell food kid so you no pay. Father say you idea good to because you go with you Kris so he get free burger to.     I am just banging my head against the wall. There is absolutely nothing which is working. I have tried to be kind, I have tried to be harsh, I have tried to be reasonable but it just is not working. And yet Smile wants us to be nice to everyone in this forum

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
