My Dear Friend

 To be with Family around
is a sort of Meditation

 It keeps You connected
away from negativity 
and loneliness

 We being Grandparents
have to realize the value

It is a source of Happiness
an island of Love -- Peace
& Contentment 

 It is like an Oasis
We pay visit from time to time
to take a shelter from our 
routine Life

It is like a lifeline
fills up your Happiness Tank


 It is 22 Below Zero and windy
Sun is there but can not help much
except to make our Day bright
that's enough

I am sitting in one of My office
Cubicle I have 10 minutes time
slot to talk to You Guys to My
Readers Family

 At 10 am I will go to the next room
to play My Darts I am Happy as
I am working full time today

From 1 to 3 pm is My Carpet Bowling
so I will be back at 12 in the Library
again to have My snacks

I don't pack My lunch in the Morning
too much work take one cheese slice
one fruit yogurt one small banana and
two crackers 

From 12 to 1 pm I have My own time
I browse Magazines do whatever I like
to read or chat with My Friends at the
Library

From 1 to 3 pm back to work for
Carpet Bowling 

 My Grand Kids will be back from
school then I will be busy with them
giving their favorite snacks to them

One likes chocolate milk with toasted
peanut butter slice the other two are
in High school that is tricky

Tough job for me to think what to give
to them yesterday I baked Cinnamon
rolls day before Onion Rings

I am with Families around one is My
Readers Family on My computer
and one at Home

So nothing to worry about I have enough
to enjoy Thank You God for Making
My Days Brighter

    I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. This being Sunday, almost all customers go to the church. There are also out of town people who come for church in our small town. The congregation is now quite big. The priest said that he knows that why people are actually coming here. He also is starting to set up the sermon on themes from the blog. After the sermon, the customers come to Smile Corner and read blog. The out of towm customers read blog from the entire week.

    Dear Madam Smile, you so good. You write so advice. Like you write advice to Dear Literature Fellow, Dear Kris, Dear Kris Father, Dear N and Dear Retirees and Dear me. You do so much work to. Like you write blog in 10 min from office. You play dart, you play Casino, you play basketball, you teach grandkid hockey coaching, you give food to son and son sons, you give money to son. You big shot. I do 2 very proud job and always read blog

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees are not able to comprehend how you can be outside in -22C weather. For all of us, we tend to stay in the house when the temp goes below 15C. We do that because it is just too cold for us.

    Also, the retirees are amazed that you have an office and can create a blog in 10 mins. The retired author pointed out that it is next to impossible to write something when you have a schedule or are forced to write. He indicated that this is true for all the noted writers that he is aware of. Overall, we are continuing to be surprized at your day to day achievements

    Dear Author,

    We are getting more and more students at the SRC. They come her because this is our main center where we do a joint reading of the blog and since we have the various professors , we also do a quick analysis of the content. The students come here because they want to listen to it.

    For todays blog, the dean and the profs were not sure if they actually were reading it correctly. Some of the profs are grandparents and though they agree with you that having family around is meditation, they pointed out that they dont know anyone who takes care of the needs of the grandkids in so many special ways.

    The students also indicated that their grandparents never did this

    Father say you very good to you Niklases. Father say kid now no good. They lazee. Like they no go skool walk. They go with Kris on car. Fahter say Father say they play video game lot. Father say when fahter Nikls, then he alsways walk skool. He no break sofa and no play competer game. Father say he old almost 67

    (Hannah say that he no understand how you go out -22C. He say it very cold you need be care. Niklas say grandpapa drive him krazy because he go walk driveway but do one round in 5 mins. Also grandpapa yell him and always give advise. Me like you blog and also tell office worker how you help father and other. I read blog them. They all problem with their Niklas. They ask me more blog. Father say Niklas should walk skool but his skool far. Me confuse. Me no no what do)

    Prior to reading these blogs we had multiple misconceptions about ourselves. We are sharing a few here for illustrative purposes. We thought that we are quite active, independent, savvy with eloquent writing abilities. Yet after reading these blogs, we came to realize that our abilities and activities are reminisce in the light of Smile's illustrious examples. Smile has proved that she can craft world class masterpieces in a matter of minutes; Is completely weather proof; Refuse to take any assistance from her scion in her travels despite having blurred vision

    All in all, we continue to learn from Smile

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
