Don't Drain Yourself Out
Kris My Dear Friend
I have written so much
to save Niklas
It looks I had no luck
Sofa is not more important
not precious than Your Son
Niklas back is more important
throw away the broken Sofa
get Him a new one
He will pay You back in
Years to come
Father Pl. leave Niklas alone
He will watch the old people
TV shows at Your age
Don't push Him to go
outside He has to stay
Home Pl. make His Life
not a Hell
Let Him enjoy
His Life His Childhood
Years it wont be back
This is end of March April is
just around the corner I was
thinking about last year 2016
My first Grand kid's Wedding
in London England
My Youngest Daughter's
Eldest Daughter was going to
be married
She wanted everything perfect
as she knows Her Daughter is
perfectionist
She with Her Daughter planned
months before for each and
Every Event
They spent hours and hours menu
was tricky seating arrangement was
real tough
Flowers the Theme the Lights -
Music and Decorations now You
can imagine about Dresses
They were so exhausted with the
planning that they were just
drained out
The whole Family was not having
good time at all as in their Mind
so much needed to be done
to get there what they planned
Everyone enjoyed but in their Mind
was not as they planned months ahead
So please never go for perfection
just enjoy and go with the flow
Don't lose the Track of the Moment
don't mess that up with your Planning
Planning is good but not at the cost
of Happiness and enjoyment
don't tear Yourself out of that
Moments are everything they will
never be back what is gone is gone
please keep in Mind
Be in the Moment have a feel of that
and try to drain all the Joy and Happiness
out of that Moment
This is what all of us are doing, planning and planning to make our big moments special and perfect and as we have planned so much to make it perfect, even if little things go out of hand, we get depressed ,we ruin our moods. We already are tired and exhausted, we don't enjoy it , the way we want it to be remembered.
ReplyDeleteI really liked today's blog and will try to follow it.

SWS was great. As usual, we talked about today's blog.
DeleteTiara
SWN was fun too. The participants were from all lobbies. There are a no. of managers participating in these walks now
DeleteCleo
I had an interesting meeting with a group of managers. They asked me to talk to them about Smile's today's blog. At the end they pointed out that all planning should factor in Smile's suggestion. Their concern is that we are over-planning, instead we should try to reduce the focus on perfection. This will help improve productivity and also reduce personal stress
DeleteBrian
Oh so that's why the management want me to not worry about the details in the schedule for the Smile workshops
DeleteKim
Hi, Planning is god as long it does not annoyed every one. Nothing has to be perfect! enjoying the process is BEST. Simple to me is the always rewarding. Colors or flowers arrangements and good music and good food, that is all. As long people who assist at the wedding or like enjoyed themselves too, you are a winner.
DeleteGood luck,

ReplyDeleteBrenda
Great!! Did you also get to have the SD for the poster?
DeleteCraig
I took half but gave the other half to Jasmeet. He could have posted it before me but he gave me a chance to post it. I was one minute behind him but he still waited as I usually lose the race.

Dear Advisor,
ReplyDeleteThe retirees did not go for our long walk today. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. We were very tired from the walk yesterday. Some of the retirees are suffering from cramps also. The retirees instead went straight to the reading of your blog.
Your blog acted as a relaxation material for our subcommittee chairs. They are driving themselves as well as the team to a punishing schedule however after reading the blog they decided to slow down.
The retired corporate executive was almost in tears. She mentioned that she wished that she has read this blog before she retired as many of her nights and weekends could have been salvaged. She indicated that this is a huge learning for every organization as each of them try to have a perfectionist mindset.
All retirees wanted me to explicitly state our appreciation and thanks to you

Dear Author,
ReplyDeleteI cannot thank you enough for your today's blog. It helped us have our lives back. I am not exaggerating
Our Dean reads your blog regularly and after reading today's blog he came to the SRC and found us feverishly working towards the April 1st deadline. There were a whole bunch of students and professors from different faculties. All of us were trying to go through your various blogs to decipher the real meaning that you have tried to convey. The Dean immediately took a senior professor aside and confirmed his (ie Dean's) understanding of today's blog. The professor confirmed it. The Dean then came to me and said we should do as Smile has told us ie take it easy but dont work ourselves to the bone. He waived his 1st April deadline for us.
Everyone, including our professors were happy. All this because of the blog that you wrote.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you
