My Dear Friend

I am very Happy
to read Your Comment
Please say Thanks
to All Your Friends

I really want to get connected
with Your Generation

This connection is very important
to me and you are the Bridge

Please let me know
if I am really touching the points
which matter to You People

I am trying to write about the
issues of Today's Generation
to raise some awareness
if it can be helpful in some way

I don't know I am trying

Kris My Dear Friend
You will lose your son
don't yell at Him

Try to be His Friend
spend time and please
ignore minor things

He has to stay Home
and enjoy Playing Games
not a big deal

You please don't take any
Day Off for Father's Walk
let Him know the whole world
doesn't revolve around Him

Please focus on Niklas
He is a Great Kid
like every Kid
we make them Bad
not their fault

Kids are like Clay
we can make whatever
we want

It is Monday so My Darts Today
it is 9.30 I am waiting at my Driveway
for My Friend to pick me up

Last night it was rain most of the trees
now have no leaves left Rain Drops
on the tree branches looking like
small pearls hanging on Tips

Temperature is minus and it is sunny
I mean bright so you can imagine
the glittering Pearls giving a
beautiful view

Now I am sitting in the Library in one of
Cubicle looks to me I am in My Office
writing My Blog waiting for Darts
It starts at 10

I started thinking about Today's Generation
about our Teens I think this is the World
of Great competition

My Grandson is getting 90 + Marks still
my Son was worried till He got his
acceptance in University

Generation of Today has to hear  " Do More "
slogans from everywhere from Teachers
and also from Parents

Even in Sports same thing now it looks
no more enjoyment

I go to watch games in Hockey Arena
as well as to Basket Ball Courts
even My youngest Grandson age boys
look as if they have to win a war

When I was in England my Daughter
was telling me about Her Teacher's
Workshop

They were discussing about the Board
Competition Exams and every such thing
which put students under lots of pressure

For these competitions Parents push them
to have Trophy and Certificates to show off
to their Family and Friends

While Kids even don't care abut that
they were discussing that Everyone is
spoiling their Childhood period

We destroy that beautiful period
of our Kids and never let them
enjoy I agree with that

Parents pushing Kids to join number of
Clubs and even push to start a new club
on their own in High School so that
they can get admission easily in their
Universities

I feel bad for the Generation of Today
still I think it is not Parent's fault too
they are scared of the Competition
in Today's World

We all are pushing them to " Do More "
and they are losing the Emotional aspect
of their Life which is equally Important

I think more important in years ahead
in their own future Family Life

  6. Dear Advisor,

The retirees did not go for our long walk today. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. We were very tired from the walk yesterday. Some of the retirees are suffering from cramps also. The retirees instead went straight to the reading of your blog.

The retired child psychologist led the reading of today's blog. After the reading, she mentioned that this is ground breaking new material. The principal of the local school also agreed with that. The two of them are part of the subcommittee on parenting and child nurturing. The committee also include a mix of retired and active professionals in the field of children education. This includes board members of the local school board, child psychiatrists, teachers and counsellors specializing in children. Though not all the subcommittee members were present, but there was enough quorum available to pass the motion.

The other subcommittees are also continuing to function actively. They are trying to play catch-up from the time that they lost the day before because of the hearings. The subcommittee on joint family living is still sifting through the heaps of information that you provided yesterday. The subcommittee on mental health and nutrition are requesting additional information. They have requested me to highlight their need to you

    thank you again
    recent retiree

  8. Dear Author,

We appreciate your very kind words. Please dont mind us commenting on your blog but we absolutely agree what you said. Our parents and grandparents put so much pressure on us. For our program, the drop out rate is almost 40% after the first year only. The teachers and parents blame the kids but they dont realize that for those who are dropping out, they probably have not chosen the courses on their own but were forced to select this.

It is too difficult and sometimes we wonder if it is worth all the hassle. It is very encouraging tat someone like you with excellent clibre understands our dilemna. I hope the teachers and retirees can do something about this, because this is a big problem

    thank you

  13. This blog caused our meeting to get side tracked! I used the blog as an ice breaker but instead of having a quick 5 min discussion, we all wanted to talk about nothing else but this blog. Before we knew it, we had spend most of the day reading and re-reading this blog!

    Thanks Smile

    2. I was not complaining about the blog or blaming Smile. I was simply pointing out that the blog had so deep meaning and was so popular that all participants were interested. I think I did not communicate that correctly.

      My apologies for that.

There is no way I can even think of critiquing Smile after all she has done for me and for my many successful business meetings

thank you Smile and thank you gentlemen
