I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. This being Saturday, lots of customers are in my shop today to read blog. They come here to read blog from today and also the past week. There is no room inside, and people are waiting outside. I am running low on supplies. The Councillor is also here today. He is talking to the priest.

Dear Madam Smile, you so good. You write good to. Mr. Supervisor come and say how you I say him I want go and prey. He say what you mean, you Madam ok. I say she no ok she lot better than ok. He say what you mean, I say him that she go walk when it -10C and it no small walk like Dear Retirees do but long. He say that good. I say and she also work 3 day. She no work on Tuesday and Thursday and weekend. He say that good. I say yes but she write blog all day. He say that good but why you need go because she ok. I say him I want prey thank because she alow me be her reader and also write for me when I problem. He say that true you go prey. I say him but how you know she no problem because I no tell you blog. He say he need go. I do proud job and always read blog

ReplyDeleteThe students read your blog at the SRC today. We did not go to the Smile Garden as the Smile Army is still busy decorating it. They have allowed us to come after you instructed them to be kind to us but we ourselves are not going to respect their wishes. The bookstore manager was again delivering a big bundle to the Smile Garden. The Dean asked him to take it easy. The bookstore manager replied that this is advertising for the bookstore as a lot of people are big fans of Smile. He added that besides advertising, this is the least he can do to repay what you did. When the Dean asked him what Smile did, he said it was Smile who told all students to calm down and not boycott Christmas cards. He said, he had a lot of Christmas cards and other Christmas material so if students would have stopped buying then he would have lost a lot. The Dean smiled and said yes Smile has helped so many people here. When he asked who else, Smile said a few. We were about to tell them about the great friends and the students from the local school but the Dean asked us to be quite and whispered to us that he did not want to share stories to avoid embarrassment to anyone.
Some of the students had visits from their parents today so they were in a bad mood. Others are getting ready for the "talk" over the next few days.

Dear Advisor,
ReplyDeleteThe retirees read your blog and then had another emergency meeting of the joint family living committee. The retirees are continuing to be very concerned after we read your blog earlier this week in which you painted the real picture. Many retirees are continuing to have sleepless nights whereas others have increased their medication. The retired corporate executive has been requested to lead the subcommittee as it is starting to be the most important activity for us. Due to the seriousness of the situation we have temporarily suspended all other activities including the Smile with Smile program, the hospital outreach, the retired chef has stopped communication with the 5 star properties, as well as any other communications and activities as this a very priority matter/ The retired corporate executive has asked the resourcing committee to add the retired mental health experts, the retired physicians as well as the retired therapists to the subcommittee with immediate effect. She is also thinking of asking for an active senior social worker as well as an active psychologist to be included to the subcommittee. One of the retiree mentioned that before we add the resources we should get your opinion as it may be something you can address. The retired corporate executive however mentioned that this is a very complex issue which likely is too complex for you to handle alone by yourself. The retirees however passed a resolution to wait for 3 days before doing anything further so you have sometime to reflect on this issue
