    I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. This being Friday, customers are lining up outside my shop to read blog as inside is completely full. They come here before going home or to the pub. It is like a community center here. The councillor is here as well. The priest was here in the morning as it is less busy then. He was making lots of notes from the past blogs

      There were mixed emotions in the SWS today. People were really happy to see today's blog because it however when everyone realized that it is Friday, they were feeling a little gloomy.

    Dear Madam Smile, you so good. You write good to. I go job worker who like garden. I say garden worker, remember you tell me that you plant new flower and it no becoming big. She say yes because I plant in wrong place, in need to be in shade but it get lot son. I say no that no problem, you need sprinkle water with love and patience. She say, what you say. I say my Madam write in blog. I think she remember joke. I do 2 proud job and always read blog

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees did not go for our long walk today. We are still very tired from the walk from yesterday. Some of the retirees are still suffering from cramps also. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. The retirees instead went straight to the reading of your blog.

    The retirees appreciate your advice and guidance. There were a lot of members missing from the meeting today as they already made up the decision based on your advice from yesterday. After reading your new advice, we have set-up a subcommittee who will make a concerted effort to reach out to all the absentees. They will start their activities as of tomorrow morning as they plan to make use of the day today to establish talking points eg providing them the background about why you changed the advice. We do not anticipate that many will ask for this information but we are preparing it as a just in case scenario. We expect to keep it light weight and have the talking points all completed and ready to go today. We expect to start the calling campaign as of tomorrow

    I apologize for not keeping you up-to -speed regarding the Smile with Smile program. We could not get the update from the chair today but there was one participating memerb of the subcommittee. He informed us that since making the events free of charge, we have started to get very good attendance in the program. The program collateral is still to be updated but there are 2 boards already engaged and a third one, in discussions with us. Hope this gives you a perspective about the program.

    Dear Author,

    The students and the professors read your blog at the SRC today. We also requested the Smile Army to attend. Since they have started doing that, there are very cordial relations between our two groups. As we were reading the blog, we could not believe that you are actually thinking of us. We appreciate that a lot. Your recipes are very helpful to us. Since you started publishing them, we have been having good wholesome meals as opposed to cheese noodles and kraft dinners that we used to have

    The local school students are still a problem for us. The sociology group is also involved but there is yet no progress on the Smile project

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
