    I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. There are lots of customers coming even on Monday. Priest was here today. Customers gave him place to sit and were talking to him respectfully. He was thanking Smile for forgiving him for his error of judgement.

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees did not go for our long walk today. We are still very tired from the walk from two days ago. Some of the retirees are still suffering from cramps also. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. The retirees instead went straight to the reading of your blog.

    The retirees appreciated your blog today and as per your instructions, have disbanded the relocation subcommittee. The members of the subcommittee have been reassigned to support other roles and other subcommittees. The cafe manager is very appreciative and offered us Smile Discount for the entire week. Some of the members joked with him that he may ask us to pay back, to which he sheepishly smiled

    The retirees have re-established the contacts with the hospital and were informed that we should expect to get an update on the pilot before the end of the week. Based on the informal patients interviews that we conducted in a clandestine setting, we believe that the pilot is proceeding very positively.

    The retirees are wondering if you can provide us some advice about physical health and well being. A no . of retirees are hoping that we can improve our physical health so we can walk for 20 minutes. At this time, we can walk for 10 minutes with 1 scheduled and 2-3 unplanned breaks

    Dear Author,

    The students and the Dean read your blog today at the Smile Garden. The dean also invited all the students of the local school, some of the most senior professors from all the faculty, the senior volunteers of the Smile Army as well as the 2 other volunteer who do the cleaning at the Smile Garden. He did that to indicate unity. He gave the cleaner volunteers the most visible position and asked them to read the blog. The cleaners had a difficult time to read the blog as they were choking with emotions all along. The local school students did not participate by saying that they are busy but asked for a copy of the blog. We refused to give the blog to the school students but their principal came and took it. One of the professor asked the principal what she will do with the blog but she did not answer and simply walked away. Based on the actions of the principal we are thinking that perhaps the principal is involved as well.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
