Playing Darts Only

Today Our Club has arranged a
Boat Trip
It is Cruise and Casino 

Casino is Too Loud for Me at My age so
I skipped -- Most of the People are on Trip
My Friend who has to Pick Me up
She has Doctor's Appointment so
She is Not coming


It is 9 am I decided to Walk to the Library
It was Too Hot so walked Half Way to High Way #2 
After that I Decided to Take Bus

I have to Take Bus #900 I had Durham Bus Ticket
I was Fine I was in Darts Room at 9.45
Couple of People came to Play but Not Worth it
To Arrange Everything

One Person was with Walker His Wife Drives and
Picks Him Back after Playing Darts
She already Left to Home

He was Stuck as He had Stroke so has
Difficulty in Talking and Remembering His Phone #

Me and My Friend were Running to Office and to
Him for the Correct Phone # as He Remembered a Bit

Anyway Things were Sorted out and finally
We were able to Contact His Wife
She Lives Nearby so was there to Pick Him up 

 We Never Realize the Things We have
We Take Everything for Granted and always
Complaining for Petty Matters

Please Value What You have -- These are
Real Treasures -- We can Talk -- We can Listen -- 
We can Walk  and can Do Things

At My Club More Than 40% of My Friends are
With Hearing Aid -- couple of Them even
Use Wigs

We Don't know What We have -- All These are
Blessings -- Please Try to Say Thank You God
Once a While -- Whenever You Have Time

He Doesn't Need That but We have some Moral
Obligations --  I Think

    I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Today being Friday, there are lot of locals who are here. I have bought extra biscuits as it has become a tradition in our small town that locals come here and read blog before going back to their homes or pub

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees went for our long walk today. After that we had our lollipop. This walk, though very long for us, is nothing compared to the walks that you have. The retirees instead went straight to the reading of your blog.

    The retirees appreciate the advice your advice to us about positive thinking. The retired kinesiologist and the retired physical health scientist confessed that the theory that you have included in your blog is among the first linkages that they have seen for links between mental health and physical well being. They are saying that if you can please provide references. When we clarified to them that you dont refer to these items they pointed to us that this is new research so there must be references. If you can please clarify

    Your yogurt recipe was a big hit today. The cafe manger served that to us and we enjoyed it with the reading of your blog. The cafe manager has all the marketing collateral ready and is looking for your go ahead to launch the Smile blog

    Dear Author,

    The students and the professors had your reading of the blog at the Smile Garden today. The atmosphere was very cordial and pleasant as the students from the local school were present here too. They came to renounce their drug usage and also brought their unpleasant material. The police was here as well and they took charge of it. The police was in their casual clothes and not uniform. It actually provided a very positive environment. The Dean was here as well. It was a celebratory day

    After that we went to the SRC. The computer engineering department is still investigating but so far it is not looking good. The senior professors were there and they are also consulting other professionals to help guidance. I will let you know as things progress.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
