I am happy for Kris Father
               &
Happy for My friend
back from hospital


I think driveway the small
black path beside My house
is one of the pillar of My Life

So today I decided to write the
whole Blog for my Driveway
it deserves that

 I did so much thinking here so many
thoughts come swarming up to
me to flourish my Mind

I wait here for my friend's car
 for years to fulfill my dream

My Dream of playing Darts
and carpet bowling

 These dreams get materialized
on my driveway on this spot
where any car from any of
my friend comes and stops

To pick me up to take me to library
to my second home my Refuge
I wait on my driveway for just
couple of minutes

Wait for my friend and in that
much time beautiful thoughts
come rushing to my Mind

To embrace as if they were
waiting long for me to tell
all the beautiful stories around

It is 4 plus weather is calm -- bright
still cloudy trees had shower
in the rain at night

After harsh weather nothing left
on trees just bony sort of skeleton
still some of them fighting back
with much green on their bodies

Grass looking full of Life with
all the rain water which gave
it power the strength
it was at the right time to regain
happiness

Snow is still there at the corner
of the Front yard on the grass
beside all the houses

My House is at the dead end of road
I can see Whites Road very busy
as it is 9.30 in the morning

 It is Wednesday I will be staying
for carpet bowling after Darts
so will be back on my Driveway
at 3 pm

Here comes my friend's silver car
to pick me up having some fresh
air on my driveway I also feel
connected to the Life around 

The Trees the Grass everything
looks like symbol of life
giving me a feeling that
I am not alone

An aura of happiness around
thank you my Driveway for
giving so much to me

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees appreciate your continued guidance to us. We are particularly impressed that you can churn out blogs like a factory. The retired author again impressed this upon us. She indicated that most of the accomplished authors need time and space, they cant stand on the driveway and simply write about it so eloquently.

    We did not go for our Smile walk today as we were tired from our long and arduous walk this week.

    PS: the retired member who had a health scare, is continuing to find solace in your blogs.

    Father say he no understand that you walk in snow and go dart with friend and no with son. He say that you can fall. He say he no want go mall now because Kris (me) no take time off from office. Father say he friend with nabor but no want go him because it cold, like 15C and it rain so he can slip. Father say he only go with Kris (me) because he can hold hand but no alone. Father say he thank you because you help fix problem. He say he thank you though you Hannah friend. He say you no old but Hannah friend because you 30 and can walk on snow. He say he old, almost 67 and no walk in rain and no walk when 15C

    (Father happy now. He listen blog. He soup and watch tele also. He talk Niklas. He no talk Hannah say she need resolution. But Hannah happy she say he good. She say you her friend and thank you. I thank you. Nikals happy also.)

    This is a masterclass from Smile. Writing the blog on the driveway and make it so compelling that the reader cant stop until the last word! She is like a sculptor who is creating a masterpiece from a stone!

    This is yet another classic from Smile. From my vantage point she is as good as Herriot, Chaucer, Dickens, with one big difference. These gentlemen were not creating their classics everyday. Smile is. Dont take my word for it, just look at the following:

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
