Air loaded with aroma around

Weather is like a roller coaster. Just couple of days ago, it was hot, feel like 25 C. I was debating for what to wear to go for my walk. Today, it is 13 C. I am searching my coat closet, trying to find my jacket for my walk. I am done with my breakfast. My son is planning to go for a drive to watch fall colors.

It is 10. 15, I am getting ready to go with him. We have to avail opportunities, to get out, to make our day. My daughter in law is on a trip, enjoying her time. Kids are sleeping. They must be awake till late night, enjoying their weekend. 

It is 10.30, I am at Colonel Danforth park. It is great here, scenic. Colors are all mixed up with green vegetations. All sort of plants, high trees, shrubs, wild flowers are also adding up beauty. Atmosphere is loaded with variety of aroma around. Air is all scented with natural fragrance.  

By the side of walkway, is small body of water, flowing all along. Trees are mixed, of variety of ages. Some very old, lying down, ready to be merged in soil. I think, they are too old, too tired, not ready to handle life matters anymore. Sometimes enough is enough. 

Park is great, path is like a road. I am walking and enjoying the scenery around. Benches are in between, on the way, to have a seat, to take rest. Someone pointed me out that there are Couple of Salmons swimming in water, at the side. I stopped to have a look. Yes there were two of them. 

It is 12 noon, I am back. Busy in kitchen, making banana shake for my grandsons. They are now awake. I will make for myself and for my son too. Life is all great. Thanks to God for keeping me mobile, to do things, to make my day, to pitch in for my family, for my household. Thank You God.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
