Tables outside at Tim Hortons

Beautiful weather 23 C, sunny, bright morning. It is weekend, kids are sleeping, enjoying their time. They must be awake till late night. My youngest grandson, the Slurpee Boy is at Uni, having his exams from 9 am to 12 Noon. Uni has it's own time table. Exams early morning, never thought of that. Anyway.

It is very quiet in my neighborhood. Cars standing on driveways, waiting for orders to move. Whites Road is also not so busy. I can't hear much traffic. My house is at the end, by the side of the road. I can figure out about the traffic flow. Weather is great, people must be getting ready to get out, for lake and trails to enjoy their time.

Summer is short for we Canadians. We don't want to miss any time. Have to value every moment, to make use of it. I noticed at Tim Hortons, they arranged extra tables outside. We seniors take advantage of that. Not many of us go to trails and lakes. Every stage of life, has it's own beauty. Age for we seniors, is time to relax, to sit down and enjoy. Not to rush. We can enjoy in so many other ways so why to take extra pressure. 

Inner peace is everything. Happiness, we can get from everywhere. Don't have to worry about, to go and search. Just relax. Try not to make other people's life difficult. Don't interfere into others personal matters. Focus on your own self. Believe me, this is happiness. Enjoy the Nature around. Moments keep on slipping from our hands. It won't be coming back. What is gone, is gone. Value the moment and try to make use of that.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
