Sun is out of his comforter
It is 10.15, I am done with, having my breakfast, in my eat in kitchen. Sitting beside patio doors, now enjoying with, whatever is going on in my back garden. Two Red Cardinals having their morning treats, in one of the bird feeders, in front. Black Squirrel is done with his exercises, now relaxing near the wooden fence, on the side of my lush green garden.
TV is on, I can see highlights of the last night Leaf's winning game. Ice Hockey is very popular here in Canada. Maple Leaf is Toronto team. People are hooked up with hockey games, keeping track of their favorite team placements in Playoff games.
My time at downstairs, is done. Now time to go upstairs, to be in my room. It is time to be with my computer, to connect with my, far away family and friends. Time to have a seat beside my table, to watch through the window, to connect with the world outside.
It is mixed sunny cloudy morning. Looks very windy. I just checked the weather web site, wind gusts are around 90 km. It must be tough for trees, to control their shaking bodies.
Magnolia tree on the left of my front garden, is fully loaded with beautiful buds around. They all, putting smile on their faces, ready to burst out into flowers, any time soon. Red wooden bench is shining on the green of my lawn.
I see golden streak, up above, in between through dark clouds. I think, Sun is now awake, must be trying to get out of his misty comforter. It will not be easy to find his way through dark skies. I trust his will power. He will make it. When there is will, there is always a way. He will be here soon, to brighten our gloomy day. I told you, like every time, "This too shall pass". Just have patience, things always change.
I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. Our small town has completed its vaccination. Thanks to you, it was done very quickly after your approval. There were some people who were refusing it, but the health official started giving out a copy of the blog so we started seeing huge line ups. The priest was also encouraging everyone to get vaccinated. He is saying that because when everyone gets vaccinated then the people wont be able to use Covid as an excuse to not attend his sermon. The customers are laughing and saying that they will need to come up a different excuse. I think you are not getting my comments so my apologies if I am repeating myself. The councillor and the health care officials are asking for your approval to use the Smile Corner for vaccination of out of towners. They are also your fans. We have some vaccines left but health officials need your approval to convert Smile Corner into a mass vaccination site so they can use Smile Corner for out of town vaccinations

Happy Worker say what happen because you were enjoying it? I say yes but job worker 2 explain me that it very danger for bird. Happy worker say why? ReplyDeleteWe read your blog with amazement today. We continue to be surprised that you have so many different interests. There is a retired ice hockey player in our group and he led the reading of the blog. He explained to us that in Canada, hockey is a passion.
The retirees are still working on setting up bird feeders as per your advice last week. We are having limited success with that. Perhaps you can help clarify what we can do to be successful.
The retirees are having a hard time with our kids. They find faults with everything that we do. Can you please help
Your Indian compatriots led a vigil last night to raise funds for the Covid victims in India. They advertised the reading of your blogs as the highlight of the vigil. This of course was a huge draw and they easily got 1000+ people. The hijab lady and her friends didnt come. Apparently they are doing some sort of dieting and dont eat during the day but eat late in the day.

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the Smile Garden today. Mrs. Lucy was here today as it is the weekend and after her vaccination has completed, she usually does not miss a chance to come to the readings of your blog. She confided to us that she started playing darts because of you. We asked her why she throws the dart by thinking of your son because you have asked us to not say anything about him. She replied that there have been 3-4 incidents which makes her blood boil, eg when he asked you to take the bus when you had your eye appointment and asked you to wait in the mall, or when he did not even take you to the doctor or any hospital after the bus accident, or when he forced you to take many BUSES to go to meet your brother or to a library. She was still going on when the Smile Army started raising slogans against him. The Dean asked everyone to calm down and said that it may be better that we do what Mrs Lucy does ie get a dart board and throw darts at him. The Smile Army liked the idea and will be creating a dart board.

You continue to inspire your global readership by demonstrating active and positive living. We endeavour to emulate your example but of course the bar that you set is so high, that it is not feasible for us to achieve that. Nevertheless, your active lifestyle has been a tremendous influence to us. Though we can never see ourselves playing dart, carpet bowling, cooking and so many other things that you do in a single day, we have established some realistic goals for ourselves. We are trying to achieve these items over a span of 2 weeks. We are of the view that a 2 week window makes these goals much more realistic to achieve than getting it all done in a single day. Of course, you are also an accomplished author and this is not something that we would be able to achieve, even if we give ourselves a decade!

I wanted to thank you on behalf of the management team. Your blogs encouraging vaccination was crucial in getting our employees in all the different continents get vaccinated. There was a lot of misinformation and rumours about Covid 19 but you helped with debunking them. Also your blogs about bird feeders are continuing to be a hit with our staff. As usual, you focus on positivity and thats very helpful in these depressing times
