 Still Looks Good Not A Gloomy Day -- Here Nothing Stops
Everything Goes On So I am Working Full Time Today
Playing Darts also Carpet Bowling

It was Great in The Morning as I Got Two Calls
One From My Friend Who Works in Real States
She is Back From Florida 

She Called Me at 9 am To Pick Me up But My Son
Working From Home Today - He will Drive Me To My
Work Place That is Library

These Calls Mean Lot Give You Assurance That
Someone There To Take Care -- You are Not Alone
Next at 9.15 Was Long Distance Call

Call From My Friend -- My Colleague
Working with Me at Research Center in 1993
He is Not in Good Shape 

His Wife Not My Colleague Still Good Friend Of Mine
They Talked To Me about Old Days also invited Me
To Come and Offered Their Place To Stay There

 It Reminded Me All The Golden Memories -- The Time
We Spent Together -- Time Flies -- These Calls are
Like Treasure Moments We Earned Out Of Our Life

 I Was Getting Ready To Go For Darts But Not Ready
To Cut Their Calls Anyway I was Able To Reach 
In Time at 10 am To Play Darts 

It is 12.30 I am Done with Darts and also with My Lunch
Now Working in My Office Cubicle Writing My Blog
Waiting For Carpet Bowling To Start at 1 pm

 Thinking about My Friends My Readers Family
I am Thankful To My Dear Priest Being So Supportive
To My Dear Reader in Ireland 

Who Having Difficult Moments Nowadays
I am Praying For You My Friend -- Remember

    I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. This being Saturday, lots of customers are in my shop today to read blog. They come here to read blog from today and also the past week. There is no room inside, and people are waiting outside. I am running low on supplies but they are saying dont worry about it. Some of the customers raised slogans against the Councillor but the priest asked them to not say anything against anyone. He asked them to raised slogans for Smile instead.

    My mother in law does not go anywhere even when it is less than 20C let alone -38C. She is good with darts though. She darts stinging sarcastic remarks with her sharp tongue. And most of the time they hit the mark

    Dear Madam Smile, you so good. You write good to. I go Mr. Supervisor and say him. How you? He say I busy. I say you alergy gone? He say what you mean? I say remember you alergy before you go holiday. He say no I no alergy why you come. I say I come because I want ask do you get phone from people you work with long time ago. He say no but why you ask. I say him if you good like my Madam then lot people call you. Like someone she work with in 1993 call. I think he still get alergy. I do 2 proud job and always read blog

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees were very surprised to read your blog today. We were surprised because your long time old colleagues are in touch with you. Some of the retirees were very active socially during their work years and leading the social committees yet they stopped receiving the phone calls after about 2 weeks of their retirement. Thought on one case one retiree did get invited to a Christmas get together in her first year of retirement. Though she is not sure if she was actually invited or was sent the invitation by mistake as there was no seat reserved for her when she showed up to the Christmas event. The retirees are wondering if you can please share some tips for us

    Dear Author,

    We read your blog at the Smile Garden today. The Smile Garden is available to us all as the Smile Army has completed its renovations. All of them worked really hard and in some cases they worked till late hours of the night to get the renovations completed before the start of the winter semester. To inaugurate the new Smile garden they asked us to come and read the blog.

    Prof George was very appreciative of the blog He pointed out several items which he said is an exemplary illustration of good penmanship. He is planning to develop a course based on your blogs . One of the Senior professor asked him if he will also include works of other authors such as Chaucer, Hardy or Herriot. He replied that though others are really great authors but he prefers to keep the lectures focused on Smile only as her works includes both style and substance

    Father say you yell father litle today. Father say he no mind because he angle. Father say he check that 38F is 3 C. Father say you need care because it go lo by 3C then it can frozen and you can fall. Father say he go out when it very cool but no go when it lot coool because father can fall.   January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
