 Chalk Out Your Time Table - Do Anything You Like

    I posted the blog in the Smile Corner. As per your instructions, the priest and I went to the councillor and his supporters and invited them to the Smile Corner. The councillor was thinking that customers will yell at him but I showed him the copy of your blog. He was very nervous but he did come. No customer yelled at him however there is a feeling of anger and resentment towards them as they have not contributed and the Smile Corner will be closed because I am still short of funds

    Dear Advisor,

    The retirees were very surprised after reading your blog today. Many retirees asked the blog to be read 3 times because they could not believe what they are hearing. The surprise was that you are taking care of your son as if he is 10 years old. The new members of our group who are not familiar with him asked us how he can remain seated and let you serve him however we described his previous antics which was again a cause of concern for them. As per your instructions we did not move any motions against him. The retirees instead passed a motion for you. We read your blog in which you praised him. The new members were incredulous but we explained that he does not take care of you and yet you are so positive that you think of that as making you more self sufficient.

    The new members were also surprised that you go to watch your grandson's basketball game in extremely cold weather. Some of the retirees expressed concern that how can you do your hair and then go out the same day but for the old members, we didnt answer that but simply smiled and pointed out that unlike us, you dont do only one thing in one day.

    The retired priest again requested that if you can write some help in setting up a subcommittee for religious afairs. Some retirees pointed out that you are a scientist and therefore likely dont have that much faith but the retired corporate executive shushed us.

    Dear Author,

    We read your blog at the SRC today. We were planning to read the blog at the Smile Garden but the Smile Army refused to allow anyone to go there. This is because the weather was a little on the cold side today and the Smile Army didnt want anyone to get sick. As per your instructions they want to take things easy. They take your instructs to them very seriously. One of the Smile Army volunteer said that if he sees any of Smile reader in the Smile Garden then he will personally punch the reader. Prof George however asked him to calm down. He responded that there is no way that he will do anything against what Smile has said.

    The Dean invited the faculty of meteorological sciences to the reading today. The senior professor of meteorology noted that your technique of measuring snow amount using a table is very unique. She plans to give assignment to the students to come up new ways to do quantitative measures. She is calling it "Smile ways of doing science"

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want.
