ReplyDeleteThe retirees were very humbled after reading your blog today. We could not believe that an author of your caliber is talking so politely and apologizing to us. It should be us who should be asking for your forgiveness because we ask a lot of questions.
The retired dart player was surprised at your suggestion that dart is a dangerous sport. He tried to convince us that dart is a safe activity. He went on to say that it is not even a sport but an activity. He pointed out that there are more chances in getting involved in a car accident than in an accident involving dart however we asked him to leave the meeting immediately as he was challenging you. We also asked him to provide an apology otherwise we will cancel his membership. We also passed a resolution to not play dart ever as you appear to not have approved this for us

We celebrated your success at the cabinet meeting today At the conclusion of the meeting we enjoyed some treats to pay respect to your efforts. We also requested our HR VP to attend the meeting as the way you handled the situation in Ireland is something that we can learn from as well. It was a difficult situation with a no. of complex characteristics. The HR department is now going to create a case study for our new recruits based on this

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the SRC today. The Smile Army was very embarrassed and ashamed by what happened yesterday. The Smile Army volunteers were very upset and some of them were almost in tears that they keep on making it difficult for you. Some of the volunteers brought cake for us but we were very upset with them so we refused to have that however we did allow them to come for the reading of the blog as long as they agree that they will bring coffee too. Prof George and Dean were not in attendance today as they both went to different conferences to present their papers. We want to thank you for siding with us. Some of the students wanted to rub this on the faces of the Smile Army goons but we know we are better than those idiots so we just ignored them

Like other members of this readership fraternity, we have also been reveling on the suave fashion with which you managed an unfortunate circumstance in Ireland. Not only you were able to salvage the Smile Corner but also were able to turn your foes to allies. It is ironic, yet not surprising that it is these foes who were crucial in the success of the plans. The continuation of Smile Corner will enable your readers in the Republic of Ireland to enjoy the fruits of your penmanship. The radiance emanating from this corner will continue to enlighten the townships around and hence cementing itself as the beacon of wisdom and art. In a lighter vein, a colleague reminded us that if we continue to feast so lavishly at every success that you have, then we will end being a corpulent. We have taken the gentleman's advisement and will try to do our celebrations with fruits and other healthier options instead of the sugary substance that we presently use.
