ReplyDeleteI have posted the blog in Smile Corner. I am still short of funds and there are very few people left who have not donated. Other than the Councillor and his supporters, every one else has donated. The coucillor is not saying anything against the donations but did come to the Smile Corner to read the blog
ReplyDeleteI have posted the blog in all notice boards in lobbies A, B, C and D. Still working on getting the blogs posted from the weekend.

Dear Madam Smile, you so good. You give so much advice to Dear Retirees, and Dear Kris Father, and Dear Literature Fellow, and so many Dear Readers. You also give food to son sons and money to son, and grocery to Daughter in law. You go government conference and do science. You big shot but you always take care readers. I do 2 proud jobs and always read blog
ReplyDeleteDear Advisor,
ReplyDeleteThe retirees appreciate your blog today. The retired priest led the reading of the blog. He pointed out that this blog needs to be read by all and perhaps posted on their fridges too. He reminded us that like you, we need to only try looking at the positive sides even if it is very limited. He pointed out that your blog highlights that. Only you can take something with so much negativity and create it into a positive news item. There were some who wanted to have the retired news journalist read the blog as he was a pro in spinning thing eg proving that day f night ad=and vice versa but the retired corporate executive said that this gives the impression that you are indulging in fake news. We then dropped the idea
thank you
recent retiree
This blog provided me with a perfect ice breaker for my business meeting today. It created a much more humane environment for the rest of the meeting as it showcases how some positive items can be found in very negative things
ReplyDeleteThank you Smile

Dear Author,
ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the SRC today as there was a lot of precipitation because of which it was not easy to be outdoors. The Smile Army however spent most of their times outdoors. The Dean asked them to not go outside because they will get sick but they refused. They said that they want to make sure that the Smile Garden is looking as good as it possibly can. Dean wanted Prof George to talk to them but everyone was surprised that he is himself out in the cold and damp environment taking care of the outdoors. The Dean shook his head saying that it is amazing how you can inspire old and young at the same time. One of the professors responded, it is with folksy tone and caring heart. All started raising slogans for you after that
thank you
Literature Fellow
