Flowers Smiling on Garden Table

It is just couple of days, back from my trip to England and it looks that I never been away. My suitcase is all empty, in the basement. Things in cupboard. Everything back on track. I started going back to my work, to play Darts. All set, back to normal routine.

For couple of days, it was hot, here in Toronto, 39 C. Today slightly cool, will be 23 C in the afternoon. It is morning, 7.15, 15 C, overcast, hazy sky. It is weekend, everyone sleeping. I am awake, in my room, busy with my computer. 

Yesterday was a busy day for me. In the morning, I went to library, to play Darts. I was back after 12.15, made banana smoothie for my son and for my youngest grandson, the Slurpee Boy. He likes that. I made for my own self too. Never forget to make yourself happy. It will help your mood swings. Boost your will power. You will feel great.

I was was busy in kitchen, for sometimes. I made stir fried veggie dish and fried rice, to put on the dinner table for my family. 

My afternoon was busy, making some calls. I called my younger brother, my elder sister in law and some others in family. We have to call our loved ones, to revive connections. It works like gathering flowers of happiness. Gives color to our life.

I went for dinner, to my friend, she arranged a small gathering at her place. It was great. So nice of her. My jet lag is almost over. I am back to my normal routine. We Humans are amazing, adjust so easily in all circumstances. 

Today, I am planning to go for my walk. I will go to "Metro", will get small Pizza for my grandson, the middle one, Master Golden. He likes that. I will get Carrot muffin for my son and Blueberry muffin for myself. Never forget to treat yourself. It will help you out to streamline your day to day plans.

It is 7.45, I am going downstairs, to have my breakfast. I am in my back garden, sitting on one of the red knitted steel garden chairs, enjoying Raisin Bran cereal, stir fried egg with my morning cup of tea. 

It is great. Grass is lush green. Atmosphere is scented, loaded with all sorts of fragrances from the flowers around. Single flower pot full of pink flowers, is looking great, on the glass top of my garden table, adding up colors and beauty. What a scenic view, I am enjoying every bit of it.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
