I am Not expecting High Grades

Hazy sky, cloudy morning. It just started raining, not heavy, it is like a drizzle. My deck already wet, must be raining early morning too. It is 8.30, 5 C. According to Weather Channel, sun will be out of his blanket soon. Let's see. It's predictions might come true. It is Tuesday, I have to go to work to play my Darts. For now, I am sitting in my eat in kitchen, having my breakfast, also enjoying the beautiful view in front, through big glass panels of my patio doors. 

Rain drops look like pearls on the lush green grass of my back garden. Gold, Copper and Bronze leaves are scattered all around. Single Canadian Rose looks tired, still smiling to make our day. Red, White and Yellow flowers are looking great, after having morning shower. White and Brick Red planters, lined up, by the side of my deck, are full of pinkish purple, Lilac and Red flowers. Last couple of more days of summer, to enjoy for them. Weather started changing. It will be done soon for flowers, Butterflies and for my friend, the Black Squirrel's outdoor exercises.

I am done with my breakfast, now in my room to get ready to go to work. Blinds of my windows are drawn up. One tall tree, next to Magnolia, loaded with gold, looking great. It is right in front of my window, on the left. What a beauty. My computer is also switched on. I can spend couple of minutes to go through my Facebook messages. I will write back, after I be back from work.

My right leg is still not in good shape. I have to go to my Therapist, in the afternoon. He puts heating pad under my back, afterwards, hand over  papers to do exercises on my own. He booked six sessions for me. I am done with four. Two more to go. It is the same. Let's hope for good. Stay positive. May be it is taking time, to work out. Anyway, I am managing my things. Doing Carpet Bowling too, so nothing to complain. Things happen at our age. Not a big deal.

Last week was my Bone Density test, it's results will be out anytime. I am not expecting high grades. At our age, if we get passing marks, that will be enough, to enjoy, to celebrate. 

I am ready to go. My son is driving me to my Darts. So nice of him. He has his office meeting at 10 am, I will go a bit early, so that he can be back in time. We have to be considerate. Try to adjust, to make things work out for others. Library opens at 9.30, I will enjoy my time, browse my favorite magazines. I will be fine.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away. I have to put Reverse Gear

  July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
