She Must be Waiting for Her Friend

 It is Friday, nice beautiful sunny morning. It is 8.15, 4 C, not below zero. I am in my kitchen, making oatmeal porridge, stir fried egg and my morning cup of tea. I see one small Brown bird standing on the Deck, in my back garden. I think, she is waiting for her friend to join, to enjoy her morning walk, to chit chat, to make her day. 

I can't see my friend the Black Squirrel. I think, he is out of town. Must be enjoying his time with his friends/family. I am happy for him. To be with your loved ones, matters a lot. It makes your moment. 

It is 8.45, I am getting ready to go to my work, to play Darts. Cases are rising here in Canada. Masks are not mandatory but most of the people are going back to using Masks, while indoors. We have to be careful. Safety comes first. We have to face whatever is there and do things taking health and safety into account. Things vary from place to place, from country to country. Follow the rules, wherever you live in.

It is 12.30, I am back, have to take a quick shower after that go to my kitchen to make Chicken Burger for my son and one sandwich for my own self, with Cheese slice and orange marmalade, to enjoy with cup of tea. 

it is 1.30, I am in my room, sitting beside my switched on computer. My Daughters already talked to me in the morning so no more calls from them. It is evening at their place. They must be busy with dinner preparations, to enjoy with their own families. It is nice to see, your loved ones having good time. We get happiness and inner peace. The real peace of mind. This is one of the great Blessings from God Almighty for we parents.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
