Life is like a Combo
February 25th 2025
Today I walked to Tim Hortons after
weeks. My walking was on hold due to the back to back couple of snow
storms. It was muddy and water on the walkway still I was able to
handle.
I was walking slowly, not taking big steps. Snow
now became ice, hanging with trees around. White Snow banks by the sides
of the walkway, looking beautiful, giving a scenic view to the path.
I
was wearing joggers. It helped me to walk through. It was sort of a
muddy path I made to get to the Coffee House safely. We have to look
around for the conditions to be careful with our health and safety.
Health
varies to everyone. Depending on our health we can take measures to
make decisions taking that aspect into account. Safety is a priority for
everyone at any age.
As we are getting older we are entering
into the later stages of the cycle of life. We have to take added
precautions. Our body becomes older and fragile and needs extra care and
extra safety. We have to be aware of that before going ahead with our
plans.
While making plans to go out we don't have to get carried
away, Don't have to be too excited to chalk out our long travel plans.
Be
practical. I know at later stages of life usually money is not a
problem. We are retired so we have enough time in hand. That is also not
a problem either.
It's difficult to accept that it is not time for us to go ahead with our long travels. Sometimes we get carried away.
Travels
to far places even with beautiful scenic places. We don't enjoy it. We
don't have much energy to cope with that. We get tired not being able to
walk around like in the good days of our life.
Time flies. Life
changes. We go through so many ups and downs while traveling through
the long trails of life. Walking on the paths of life is tough and needs
lots of energy and patience.
I read somewhere years ago
that, “ life is like science. To live life is an art that needs skill “ .
I agree with that novel opinion.
Life is like a combo. It is with bitter and sweet moments mixed up through all the spans of life. It is not a bed of roses.
It
is like an unpaved path. Like trails with bushes around. We have to
find the right track and pick flowers too from wherever we can to give
color to our life. To live life is definitely an art that needs skill. I
agree with that.
